This is the first time I've heard this song in several years, and I think it fits perfectly to Jean and her life. I loved seeing the footage and her interactions with her costars. Gwen Stefani is as we all know a Harlow fan (as she proved in "The Aviator"), and I think pretty much any woman can identify with this song and Jean's problems. I haven't yet visited any of the Hollywood cemeteries but I hope to pay my respects there someday. Pay no attention to the naysayers, this is a great vid.
Thanks! Gosh, I wish I can go there to visit her & the others buried there. Maybe one day I will get to Ca. I hear it's so beautiful & peaceful there. (Forest Lawn)
what an amazing video! i love jean harlow and this has made me love her a whole lot more :) i guess its ironic too cos gwen stefani played jean in "The aviator"
I think that the modern music is very cute, and appropriate because she was competing with the friendly "It" girl, Clara Bow. I love Clara too. --------Ellen
Irving Thalberg bought out Harlow's contract from Howard Hughes in 1932, gave her the full MGM treatment, and was shrewd enough to see she was being miscast as various gangster molls, and that her most comfortable turf would be comedy. He preceded her in death by about nine months, and had her own health not given out too, might have considered retiring without Thalberg's continued catering.
I read where she died needlessly because her mother did not believe in hospitals. She had pneumonia or something like that and died at the young age of 26. So sad.
It's been documented that Marilyn Monroe idolized her as well.There were great similarities between the two even though Harlow was brassier and tougher.Marilyn was soft as a marshmello,Harlow was more like rock candy
@Adinax86 Oh well, I thought it did! Yes she is, but if you listen to the words, I thought that it suit her life & what she went through! You have a song that would best suit her? I have another vid I made of her to the song "Isn't she Lovely". DId u see that one???
Yea I guess Marilyn had a sh**** life too, being used & all, it's a damn shame that these things happpened to them. They could of gone on & had a life & made more films! It's always the good ones that go! :( But their legend lives on & always will. As in all the vids made for them, we remember.....:)
email me -- I truly would love to be able to see everything from dancing and singing from ever moment of Video's and music my entire life! -- Love You've gotten it upon here! Thank GOD!

Thanks, I feel the song suit her well & with the help of some new clips, I was able, IMO, to make a better video. Yes she was something else!

The cause of death was officially listed as uremic poisoning,some sort of infection of the kidneys and in 1937 there was no dialysis
@sSateenkaari thank you!!!
I thought it was a good song choice being the way her life was & all. Thanks for liking it though!
