Love this! Thanks for sharing :) I recently tried 2 japanese SPFs and I wouldn't call them matte, but not glowy/dewy either, so I am enjoying them. Nivea Gel essence and the Skin Aqua gel in the white bottle! I heard Japanese SPFs tend to be more matte than Korean ones. I just repurchased the Beauty of Joseon stick, but if the other 2 are even more matte than that..I might buy those next!
That’s very interesting about the Japanese ones being more matte than Korean ones. I wonder why that is? Very interesting. The BOJ stick is fabulous. I feel like the Tocobo and isntree onion fresh have a more “powdery” matte finish if that makes since. They do such a great job of taking away a shine when I reapply throughout my day.
Even though Australian Gold light tint is still too dark for me, I still use it in water situations. It will not come off! And I've never been burned. I really hope they get the light tint back on the market soon. My daughter loves the Trader Joe's sunscreen. She's very texture sensitive and hates anything oily or greasy.
@@peggym1621 yes. Looks good alone on me (light-med tan skintone) but Im not sure on deeper skintones. Sometimes mattifying powders ins spf can look ashy on darker skin. I can wear makeup in top too as long as I use a sponge to apply and it has a natural to radiant finish. Matte foundation doesnt glide/blend in well on top of matte spf.
I just can’t get past the feel of the SuperGoop, and its dupes, on my face. ☹️ I just purchased the Paula’s Chiice one, I wish it had a higher SPF. I am going to look into that Saint Jane’s one.I’ve been liking Missha’s Soft Finish Sun Milk SPF 50+. I like the BOJ stick, but may try the others you mentioned, since they are more matte. I would love to find a matte drugstore sunscreen.
@@peggym1621 I hear you! Definitely not a texture I enjoy on my face although I don’t mind the texture on my body. 🤷♀️ we definitely need a drugstore matte sunscreen formula that doesn’t feel like the SuperGoop Unseen texture. I’ll have to give this some thought. It’s my understanding that Walgreens and ELF both have matte sunscreen options but both have that SuperGoop silicon texture.
@@MelanomaMom I could probably be okay with Super Goop types if I used just a little bit, but to use a 1/4 teaspoon makes it unwearable for me. A matte drugstore sunscreen would be wonderful. I keep trying, but no luck, so far. 🫤
The walgreens new dupe for Supergoop is also very good.
I still need to grab that one for my husband to try.

Right???? Still my go-to for water as well. 🩷
If you are light complexion you can’t beat the versatility of the Paula Choice Super Light
Love love love the Paula’s Choice. So good! I discovered that one this summer.
Does the Saint Jane have any fragrance components?
Yes! Saint Jane has fragrance. Here’s my full review of it: Saint Jane SPF 30 | Review and Wear Test

My fave Matte spf is Elf Invisible spf 35 :)
Thanks for sharing! 🩷
Are you using 1/4 teaspoon for your face? If so, still matte? Thank you 🙂

@peggym1621 I completely understand. 🩷 I’ll keep looking too. 🤗
I so wish Australian Gold would make a lighter shade than "Fair"!
Same 😭 😭 😭
100% agree with you #australiangold #spf50 #mineralsunscreen
