So my Wife and I did the build starting Sat. 9am finished it by 12noon on Sunday. You do not need 4 people LOL. My wife just kept the hardware together and within reach. Great project.
I put mine together over the weekend using your video as a visual guide. Thank you for having this online! I took my time and fortunately had very cool weather. My wife also helped me.
Hi Karthikeyan, I just wonder how you anchor the gazebo on the grass or patio firmly as we have very harsh windy and snowy weather in Canada. Thank you!
@@lifeofkarthi Thank you for your prompt response. Do you think that is stable enough with the provided pins? Do we need a concrete floor for it pls? I m planning to have a gazebo in my backyard too, but just worry how to make sure it is stable and wont collapse during the winter.
@@lizachan7320 I have seen people installing it on loose floor.. seems to be ok.. I would check out the reviews on Home Depot / Amazon to look out for a similar experience..
Hello Karthikeyan, i am planning to buy this gazebo and thinking of installing by myself. This video is giving me so much confidence Thank you so much :) My patio is exactly 10x12 feet, do u think this will fit properly ? Also can you please tell me how much is post to post distance ? That would be a great help. Thanks again :)
@@missingnepal72 you cant do it on your own. if you cant it finish in one day, continue the next day. if you have a driller/driver, you can do it for sure.
I did this over two days.. I was doing it slowly, hence around 10 hours.. If two adults can work simultaneously, it is possible to complete within 6 hours

How big was the box that it came in or was it all separated? Trying to see if everything would fit inside my SUV.
the box fit inside a Toyota Highlander, with folded seats

It comes with some pins, which you can to drill into the patio / deck / concrete

@@lizachan7320 i am in the same boat as you! In Canada and worried about the stability with the pins provided with the gazebo
@@nikhilcs4370 I have been told by some contractors that they can put a cement base for each leg of the gazebo, that will be very safe.
Hi Karthi,
Does it get very hot under the gazebo during hot summers?
Also how does it withstand the high winds?
Thanks

This one is from Home Depot.. requires 9 X 9 on the ground.. your patio will fit
@@lifeofkarthi - Thank you so much :)
I bought the exact same one, however I hired both repairmen ($100/person) just to assemble it. They both took 5.5hrs non-stop to complete it.
@kathikeyan Rathinasamy, how long did it actually take 2 days? Can my husband and I really put this together without additional help?
yes you can, I hope. No part is very heavy. use power tools
I have uneven patio. Would you reccomend to cut post on one side?
No ! that might impact the stability. May be level the patio first
Hello Karthikeyan, thanks for this video. Start to finish , do you think it can be done in a day by me and my wife.
yes. may be. use power tools for fixing the screws. that saves time
Thanks. I got a quote from local handyman. $450. Atlanta.

My husband paid $350 handyman! Ventura California
took me 2 hours solo

One very heavy box. Need an suv to carry
How many days did take

How many hours would it take 2 handymen to build?
about 5 hours
Any rust? How is it holding up?
It is doing great
I can’t see you in the dark
Why is this in fast speed?
it took 10 hours in total. If this is not fast, it would be a very long video
Wow, what's the point of this video? I thought it was a useful tutorial.
