@@luvsarabae My family and I (we live in Kentucky) hasn't had a vacation in over 10 years, but we are going to Galveston next month. Just wondering if a lot of things are shut down because of Covid-19?
Great, great video. Fun to watch. I'm from Houston and I visit Galveston often as it offers much more interesting aerial drone footage than Houston itself. And before I even scrolled down and saw your gear list, I knew those aerials you did were from the Phantom 4 Pro. I don't own one, but I think it is still the best drone out there for taking the sharpest, clearest video that can be had with any drone.
Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, it is the Phantom 4 Advanced/Pro and for a "prosumer" drone, it is the best on the market, in my opinion. The only downside is that it is bulky and hard to travel long distance with. I do have other smaller drones that film 2.7k @ 60fps but they just do not match up to the Phantom 4 Advanced/Pro's 4K @ 60fps. That thing is a beast!
Thank you. Yes, it was a great time and the guy playing the guitar was my brother - he is pretty good and we all enjoy hearing him play! Thanks for the comment!
My family and I haven't had a vacation in over 10 years, but we are finally taking a vacation next month. My husband gets to choose the state, while I get to pick the town. He chose Texas because he's always wanted to see it. So I picked Galveston. From what I've seen on TV and social media, it looks amazing. I was just wondering if anyone knows if things are still shut down because of Covid-19? We live in Kentucky and we are driving there (it'll be a 15 hour drive) and would hate to drive all that way and everything be shut down... I'm so excited and can't wait to see Galveston... Thanks for the video.
You will certainly enjoy Galveston on your family vacation. Very relaxing and nice beaches. I would recommend contacting the tourism bureau in Galveston to ask about shut downs.
Ah, so this is the Galveston, TX that Glen Campbell wrote a song about? Looks BEAUTIFUL, but its an Island? The City is located on an island? That's a new one for me, hmm....you uploaded this video in March so I imagine the State/County Fair is in town in that month? Totally worth checking out and glimpsed an 'Iron Shark',....being of a curious nature, would that be the sea version of the mechanical bull? Thumbs up and greetings from Querétaro! :)
@howzit3000 The drive to/from Houston is about an hour or so for us. We were able to find a nice beach house for a reasonable price using AirBNB. Hope you have a great time there! We sure did!
I go to Texas A&M at Galveston and I think you hit some pretty crucial spots on the island. That being said I think you could’ve included some more spots like the mini golf and batting cages as well as murdocks and more of the historic strand
We went there after the hurricane. The locals told us that the hurricane didn't really damage the island as much as what the media made it seem. I think some town close by was hurt pretty bad though. Galveston seemed pretty normal and everything was nice, not brand new, but just really pleasant. - hope that answers your question!
Yes, our beach house was a rental. I believe they have a lot of different beach front rentals to choose from. We wanted to have space away from the general public so this rental had a private beach and was secluded and away from crowds. It was awesome!
@@ETPFilmMedia Thank you for your video and your reply. My friends, like much of the world, dream for the times we can be together and just enjoy each other's company again. Galveston's appeal is the Gulf and the open space. Your rental looked perfect for just that!
Other than the pleasure pier, most of these shots are way outside of Galveston. I think its a little deceiving. The restaurants are a nightmare with the crowds on the weekends.
Thank you! I use Sony Vegas Pro with Boris plugins. I chose this route since Adobe charges monthly subscription and Sony Vegas & Boris allows lifetime licensing. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I do not mind at all. I usually use the Phantom 4 Pro or the Mavic Air depending on how far I travel since the P4P is pretty bulky. Phantom 4 Pro is my go-to drone at the moment.
ETP Film & Media -right on. I’m just getting into doing travel videos, im from around the Fort Worth area. I’ve recently bought a dslr and a go pro but I’m definitely looking into getting a drone next. I was looking into the mavic pro or pro 2 and mavic air. They look like a lot of fun.
If ya come on 8/30 there be an amazing firework show, and concert with, Drake Future and Snoop Butch Cassidy and khalifa as well as pink floyd rolling stones Stevie Wonder and paul McCarthy!!! It'll be on the beach front!!!
Lol yea it will be, but first I need my nephalim friends come get me make me their chair person, which should be this month on the 23rd no later than 9/23!!! But it will be!!!

@@ETPFilmMedia going there this May. Went last year for the first time and had a BLAST! Rented beach house too!
From N Dallas suburbs
Great video! What part of galveston did you stay at? I plan to bring the family and like how the house is right on the beach and looks remote.
Yes, it was! It was right in front of Bermuda Beach. Nice little beach house without any neighbors.
I've to Galveston so many times and I'm going on Saturday
We will certainly be going back someday as well! Thanks for the comment! Have fun!

Sameeee. Its really fun. I go every summer
I’ve been here and I’m going again today!
That is awesome! Hope you enjoyed the island as much as we all did!

I went there, wish there was more too it but still fun
Nice 🥰
Hi from France,
Next year i came in texas
Great video 👍
Thanks 👍
I miss my birth place so much
When I was young I always thought Texas was a wasteland like mad max or a desert
Your comment made me laugh (lol). Texas is a big state. Has a lot to offer.
You must be taking about Arizona I live there and ITS A LITERALL OVEN
The beaches don’t look as nice like they do here in California
@@bigpimpricky6977 - The cost of living is almost three times as high in California isn’t it?

Glad you enjoyed it
It reminds me of the city of Santa Cruz California.
Donde esta ubicada esta lado de la playa esta bonito para pasar en familia
I believe it is about 10 miles West of the town of Galveston.
nice!
Thank you!
First time I’ve seen a amusement park on top of a water
They are pretty common along the coast. I would say that Galveston Island's Pleasure Pier is larger than most though.
ETP Film & Media I hope those rides can withstand hurricanes being built on the pier

We went in March.. A lot of the attractions weren't open due to unusually cold weather.
You took a 3:51 vacation in Galveston? Man, you missed everything!
Unfortunately, the week that we went was unusually cold. Therefore, some of the parks and the pier was not open. It was a bummer but we still had fun!
Thanks for sharing 👏💙
You are welcome! Glad you enjoyed it!
They say Galveston is a town of new everything. Was this after or before the hurricane?
We went there after the hurricane. The locals told us that the hurricane didn't really damage the island as much as what the media made it seem. I think some town close by was hurt pretty bad though. Well thank you! Our social studies teacher said it was bad in the 19'00s
@@alien_b5079 Yes, I believe that Galveston did get hit hard in 1900. Luckily it looks great 120 years later! lol
After hurricane Ike. For example, Pleasure Pier used to be a hotel but after the hurricane they turned it into an amusement park
You can tell it's a rich in oil on the beach it's dark sand
Was the beach house a rental? I would love to stay somewhere like that with a group of friends.

why is space center houston in the video? also what is that building at the beginning?
