    Just got a 5" myself after only 3" and under, and completely agree on powerloops being more fun 🤙 I feel like a noob again in a good way

      I am, thank you! Unfortunately it’s in pieces atm because I needed the o3 to film with my smaller quad. Time to buy another soon I guess lol.

    Veeery nice vid. I also just bought the parts for my first 5 inch after a tinywhoop, a 2.5 inch and a 3inch. Really stoked about it. I was kinda torn between the axis ae2207 and the flyfishrc sword 2207 but i figured i'd go with the swords. Dont know why😂. What do you think about the armattan beaver? Its quite an expensive frame, isnt it?

    • @AlexGFPV
      @AlexGFPV  10 днів тому +1

      The swords look solid too. I love the frame so far - managed to pick it up for 60 so wasn't too bad considering it has a lifetime warranty. Definitely a little pricey at $90 full price though.

    You seem to prefer counterclockwise yaw and roll rotations. May want to work on that bias for more interesting footage :)

      @@dinosabic5383 Yes I am. I was planning on going with the quadmula siren f5 (regular version not split so I could fit the big stack w/ heat sinks), but it was out of stock. This one ticked most of the same boxes and even some more! Found it for 60 bucks and jumped on it. The only things I wish they did more like quadmula would be front camera mounting (I could pass on the aluminum in favor of lighter weight and more space), and the mounting layout/space/included extras. Everything else seems to be the same or better! Both high quality durable frames.

      @@AlexGFPV Ay that is great to hear! That is actually funny, I didn't buy the Siren because it is out of stock atm as well. Still looking for a replacement. Might give the Marmotte a go. Cheers mate!

    How the hell do you do matty flip in such a tight space with your first 5" flight? 🤔

    • @AlexGFPV
      @AlexGFPV  19 днів тому

      Five inch felt a lot closer to the sim I was flying, and indoor freestyle probably helped with precision. Though, to be fair, this wasn't my very first five inch flight. I tested the quad out a couple times before this video.

    man, seeing your other videos i wasnt expecting this level of experience, matty flip close to the ground with a 5 inch..... i constantly crash my tinyhawk 2 inch just tring doing back flips..... and you are not even 100 % concentrated, talking while flying.... how the heck can you have this control?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • @AlexGFPV
      @AlexGFPV  21 день тому +1

      When I started flying in the fall I did mostly simulator for awhile with a five inch quad, so even though the weight and power feel different after flying micros, most tricks are similar to the simulator I started on. The indoor freestyle helped quite a bit with control too - especially before I got my tinywhoop and was flying 6s in parking garages and buildings.
