The internet simply offers a broader ability to reach their audience faster, especially in breaking news. I worked in the entertainment magazine market for years. Our market was one of the few areas the National TV Guide could not break into. The best they could do was 300 magazines. It was because of the quality of the content we produced. Our peak circulation was at 60,000 which meant it was in half the homes on the island. They no longer print it but offer it online now. When I saw the internet break out. I knew papers were going to be a thing of the past. Especially now with cell phones. People now have instant access to news stories as they develop instantly. I believe you will eventually see the dominant companies who offer quality programming and news will be the leaders on the internet.

It's horridness the amount of volume of campaigning that is being pushed for donations when in fact I am already on their side and well known in their records as to my position about them and their beliefs yet the soliciting is ramping up week by week and now is simply a nuisance. I now don't feel so strong about those who I have supported in the past because of this kind of badgering for donations and volunteering. The best I can offer is my vote so if that isn't good enough, too bad. I'm not giving donations to matters I already have my mind made up about. If it were on the decline, and the public only had to go by their daily lives, then Trump would have a much larger lead, in the polls. I hope this year will rejuvenate my hope for a brighter future.

However my faith in the media, as a whole, vanished a long time ago. As a conservative, that includes the few conservative leaning outlets there are. And there in lies the problem.
