Great story, you could have nightmares about this boat cracking up and sinking mid-atlantic, or have a dream of simply trying, doing it then cracking up telling others about the adventure afterwards. We only have one life to choose which story we want to tell, I wouldn’t blame anyone shying away from attempting this epic journey.

very nice book, because Iam named in the book. Met Max on Port p Santo coming longside my fashion Najad 390 and I was dreaming of third part insurance. I saw a fender outside, but I was wrong, it was. a gasbottle hanging outboard, we became friends, cheersMax!

The best bit of that whole adventure was the amazing people I met. You were one of them. I hope we can meet up again soon, and go running again!

excellent story... Can I suggest touching bases "How to sail Oceans" on UA-cam . Sails the oceans with no engine. Just recently went from USA to Scotland and England I believe. Has now returned to Southern Islands. Very hardly sailboat....a very hardy sailor.

Wow , an interesting story made completely dull by really bad composition and video content .

On the contrary, the video is as good a review, as Gloria is at sailing! It might not look as polished as you'd like, but it works well.
