In a nutshell, he is saying any issue between two countries should be resolved by them instead of dragging other veto powers. This is what should have happened between Ukraine and Russia but the involvement of the West has clearly changed things because of their personal interests
But how would Ukraine resist Russia without help? That can't be between them unless Ukraine agrees to be enslaved, is that the right thing? I get the geo political angle of Russia though, so it's a bit complicated
@@pkrish1979 The genesis of the invasion started with Ukraine allowing American airplanes to be deployed on its land. From past 10 years, Russia appealing to Ukraine not join with the west and maintain neutral stand if not support Russia. India from the start maintained its non alignment for the same reason. If Ukraine doesn't like Russia it should have maintained neutral stand instead of planning to join NATO or side with west.

@@pkrish1979 Agree they cannot side with Russia. However considering the dictatorship state like Russia it is not wise to maintain animosity. Thats where the art of balancing works. Take economic help from West to develop the country but don't maintain military relationship. To give an example when Galwan issue happened between India-China, US backed India for military support but India didn't encourage them and told we can handle the situation. When you let others to enter ur country it would be catastrophic IMO. However nothing is easy as I said, thats where diplomacy has to be better

I think China is advising India not to rely on the West to counterbalance China. Both China and India have been brutalized by the West, and these two nations should stand together to foster friendly relationships. Neither nation should be used by the West to be adversarial so as to weaken each other and allow the West to dominate again.
The Chinese are telling the Indians hooking up with the West is a losing proposition. Plain and simple. But the Indians want to exaggerate their importance otherwise by suggesting otherwise what the West is and can do for them. The hangover is evidently clear.
China is doing itself no favours by pissing off their neighbours with ridiculous territorial claims and making them turn to America and the west for protection. If China stayed peaceful and non revanchist like India they wouldn't end up attracting so much antagonism from the west so this is all China's call.
