Yey! The Vikings vlog is out. 😃
Thank you again for taking us out!
@@BiancaBeyond No problemo 😉 come back again I'll drive you around into more places. 😉
@@lyancelhilado6932 Heya! Are you related to the Hilados of Quezon Street? They were schoolmates and neighbors to me and my cousins. :)
@@jovanessavf164 Hi. I'm not familiar with them. 😅. Sorry.
I guess your tour guide was misinformed but Spiral buffet is the largest in the country which is located in Manila inside Sofitel Hotel,.but Vikings is a nice popular buffet here in Philippines...
Agreed maybe they meant it is the largest chain of restaurants and that is probably true. But spiral is definitely bigger and better. Solaire was not far off either if I remember correctly.
Viking's is advertised as the largest buffet restaurant un their website po. I did check in google because i thought its spiral. But i was mistaken.
@@kuzinit2374 true but since it is the title of the video is seems to apply. Viking is fun have been there a few times and priced pretty reasonable. Spiral is much nicer their stations are from all around the world. The quality is high but the price reflects that although it seems to have come down from when we were there last time. I would say Vikings you can do on a regular basis while spiral is a special occasion place.
Maybe in Iloilo only
Thanks for all the names of buffets people! Gonna try them all! Any other to mention? I love hot pot or bbq buffet too
Salamat for showing every part of Iloilo City!!! Glad to see that we have The largest Buffet in the city enjoy and stay safe!
Wow ilo ilo is bigger than I thought!! You are making me hungry with this vlog!!!
Glad to see you guys enjoying here in iloilo city. The city of love 💙😘
To answer your question Bianca about layering, My first plate I go looking for the roast beef, mashed potato and gravy, and will add some sort of veggies (corn, peas, carrot's etc.), and if I pass by some roast pork or some chicken thighs I'll put some of those on there too. If it wasn't enough I'll go back and try to find more beef and potatoes, and after that it's all sorts of various desserts until I'm so full I can't eat another thing.😋🤤
thank you so much two lovers for showcasing my city iloilo👍👍💪👏👏❤️🙏🤓😆
If you guys go to Manila... you must go to Spiral Buffet, which is located at the popular Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila along the bay. the Spiral Buffet is one of the grandest buffets here in the Philippines. they have a cheese room and customized Pizza, with over 350 international dishes on its menu, this iconic restaurant offers an enticing journey of taste one simply cannot resist.
Actually, many people says Sofitel degraded a lot after the Pandemic. They lost a lot of their original chefs.
@@carlosmanoba 😲
@@carlosmanoba Indeed. I don't enjoy the buffet in Sofitel post pandemic
Henann in Boracay is owned by an Iloilo City resident. Most of the big resorts in Boracay are owned by Iloilo citizens.
Wow we didn't know that
ILOILO alot of secret billionaire.... & rich people...
Hahaha what a funny liar.Henry Chusuey and his family is the owner of Henann group of resort.
@@dota2foryou395 I wonder if you are both right? I just looked online and the Dr. Henry Chusuey International Centre is based in Iloilo City
My mom told me the trick to surviving a buffet is to not fill up on carbs and fillers, just go for the meats, seafood, chicken, and veggies, and fruits and then the desserts.
That Vikings is much bigger than the one I went to in Cebu. Don't worry about not getting rice. I never got any and saw a lot of people getting everything but rice. That is a great selection at that Vikings.
It's nice to know that you guys really had a great time in Iloilo City. The beef you ate was Kaburi beef my favorite too, just had it on my birthday the other day Aug.11, by the way if you dine on your birthday it's free just present a valid I'd and bring one full paying customer or 4 full paying customer on your birthday month and you still get a free lunch or dinner too, isn't great?! Hope to see you when you're back in the City of Love. Enjoy the rest of the Philippines and stay safe.
Kaburi beef ....what animal is that from ?

Wow I’m hungry too. Enjoy your meals guys. God bless ❤️🇵🇭❤️
Wow thank Mike and Bianca for showing the Condo beside sm that still building still in progress cant wait to be done.
That buffet looks HUGE! is there anything this buffet didn’t have? Looks like they had everything! Much love!❤️🇨🇦🇵🇭🇦🇱🇺🇸💕
I always enjoy your vlogs and getting more excited to come home for good everytime I watch you guys! Take care always and God bless!
Spiral buffet in Sofitel Manila is the largest buffet, not Vikings. Plus, they have their own cheese room which is cool. Fresh in Solaire is also a good choice, plus they have lobsters I think during weekends or dinner. You can maybe check their page for details. Regarding rice in buffets here, it’s optional don’t worry about it because I agree with you that it will fill you up fast. I also get the expensive stuff first in a buffet like sashimi and steak. Nevertheless, Vikings is also a good resto. Glad you liked it! :)
Wow, this is the first time I have heard they have unlimited Lobster too? Can you share how much this buffet is?
Hi Guys..you're having good best buffet so far..The golden thumb rule when it comes to buffet..Take all you want to eat for as long us you consumed all what you have taken ,don't leave any lift overs..And as you start gathering foods start with the most expensive ones which represents heaven then 3 spoons of rice..which is the lesser one which represents Earth..for rice is life..Lastly go for beverages and sweets its for the finally in your journey of eating..That was the golden thumb rule I learned from my elders.. I hoped others will have same or similar thumb rule when it comes to Buffet..For food is Life and not to be taken for granted..
In buffets we don't have rules to eat rice we normally avoid it because it's something that we eat everyday we want to try something we don't normally have as possible. the key is not drinking too much between meals to avoid feeling full so soon
Lol. Why do you have to tell them as if they didn't know?
You guys make me really hungry now lol. I think vikings originated in Pampanga, where i work. Haven't tried it there though. Got to, one of these days. Very nice vlog.
Wow, I had no idea about the glasses disability issue! What a great tip 😎👍
Vikings is just a few minutes going from Enchanted Kingdom toward Paseo. Hi Michael and the ever beautiful Bianca
Thank you Greg
3rd SM coming up at SM Megamall-Jaro in Balabago, Jaro District, Jaro Iloilo City. Glade Residences condominiums towers beside it.
3 soon wow so many malls
@@BiancaBeyond SM wants to keep up with Robinson's. Seriously, though, SM is an expert when it comes to looking for new locations for its malls, and in Balabago, its 3rd site, it has discovered a potential mine. Balabago is an excellent customer catch basin. Robinson's already has 3 beautiful malls in Metro Iloilo - Robinson's Place-Iloilo Downtown mall; Robinson's Place-Jaro; and Robinson's Place-Pavia, which is the biggest and for me the most beautiful among the three. These aside from satellite supermarkets by both SM and Rob in almost all the neighborhoods of Iloilo City, making life and living in Iloilo City very pleasant and convenient.
Oh come on you guys, ... you're making me salivate here. I've been to 3 buffets in the Philippines so far and they were all great. The Henann (Alona Beach) had a wonderful buffet, and then The Vikings SM Mall Bacolod a few years ago, as well as the Vikings SM Pampanga just a few days before we headed back to Vancouver. A person can't walk past that place without wanting to go in. At almost 2,000 pesos for the wife and I its a rare treat, but once a month shouldn't be out of the question.
We also went to Henan the dancing staff was so fun too!
thanks to you guys more excited to be in Iloilo this weekend :)
Rice is optional in a buffet. You have sushi so that is your rice. But most Filipinos still get rice in a buffet even very little because there are foods that go well with rice. Usually not the white rice though but the yang chow rice or the fried rice.
I didn't know that wearing eyeglasses is considered part of disability. That is also new to me.
1st time watching your vlog, new subscriber here!
That place is a foodie's heaven.
Hi Michael, my husband and I Iove watching you and Bincas vlogs/videos. He has nicknamed you the "Mabuhay guy from Boracay". He said why don't you print some t's with the slogan (sorry catch phrase) that says "Mabuhay guy from Boracay", just a business idea on the side. He said let us know as we would love to buy your merch 😊
Edit: "Mabuhay Guy from..." and hubby said depending where you are residing in the Phils 😊
Haha wow this is great!
@@BiancaBeyond be careful with merch. Making it happen vloggers stopped selling merch because of complaints. Make sure Bianca get her citizenship first before doing it
@@blp5840 Merch is not on our radar, and we are very careful with everything even this channel is 100% in Bianca's name since she has right to citizenship it is the easiest and cleanest way to avoid complications.
This must be a sumptuous buffet !......beautiful place!
That looks amazing. Wow!!! 😋
Wow im jealous on your foodtrip 😅 I'm feeling hungry
I've never seen a buffet this huge and never where alcohol is included. That lamb i woulda been all in it. I haven't had lamb in years. I really like Korean food too. Nice fun fact about glasses and disability. Your host is very nice. I need to go to this buffet though. When i hopefully come and visit we have to go here. Nom nom nom. Plus Iloilo seems really cool.
SM Manduriao, ILOILO CITY 😊
Oh! I'm salivating watching you enjoying those good and nutritious food! Enjoy your meal! 😍
Yes, go to the expensive dishes like steak and salmon fish. No rice or noodles for me.
You guys making me really hungry! Looks delicious and so much options to choose from.
How much is the Vikings Buffet? Is there levels of prices?
Adults was around P800 weekdays and P900 weekends aprox we showed the prices in the SM City Iloilo video tour
I ate at Vikings before it's a great buffet place 😋👍
Good evening guys, what did you have for dinner? If you don't mind me asking... How was your day?
13:00 Great advice. Skip the carbs and go for the meat is always the best bet in buffet. Dis guy buffets
Rice is life, If we dont eat rice, after 10 minutes of eating. we will feel starving again
In terms of food variety, the Spiral buffet is the biggest buffet in the Philippines. In terms of the number of branches, then the Vikings win. In terms of value for money, maybe the Vikings win. Spiral buffet is a little pricey as compared to Vikings.
Fave vloggers and streamers in one❤️
I’ve tried Vikings buffet in SM Cebu, march of 2019, 45 minutes wait before we get a table, 😋 👌
Post pandemic things aren't as busy it seems
The best buffet is the spiral buffet, they have their own cheese room and drink all you can alcohol.
Fancy! We love cheese
@@BiancaBeyond wow, since you love cheese, for sure you will really enjoy their cheese room,as in all the kinds of cheese.i myself got full just eating the all kinds of cheese, goes well with wine hehehe...🤣🤣😄
❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🏝️🏝️✌️ wow buffet resto I love u viking specially to the pretty host 😂😂😂
Unlimited Beer? I will go for it. Wow. Amazing buffet. But again you might not be able to drink more as you want to go for for the selection of food.
Try Spiral buffet in Hotel Sofitel Manila, the largest buffet in the Philippines.
A bit expensive but you wont regret it.
We looked it up after the comments $95 Canadian dollars each, almost 5x more expensive, now we have to try it to see if it's 5x better but we will also feel guilty it's half a months rent
@@BiancaBeyond lol
You are right Michael, it is bigger than Mandarin or Wok of Fame? I hope the sushi is better than Mandarin.
It was decent, not the best sushi ever but decent
The one in manila is the best vikings Buffett of all.
Additional info on the disability card aside from Visual 🤓. Other disabilities that will grant you PWD ID are: Hearing, Orthopedic, Cancer, Psychosocial, Learning, Speech.
So now I am really really hungry!!
Spiral in manila is the biggest buffet...p4000+ per person...you guys should've tried the buffets in plazuela only p220 per person just beside sm city!!!☺
Wow that's a great price, next time maybe
Wow whats the name of the buffet in plazuela please ?.
Nobody eats rice in a buffet, no matter where you are! Even Filipino’s know that. Love the Vlog!!!❤️👍🏻
No your wrong not all .i never saw any buffet in ph never serves rice .always rice and fried rice..its only your opinion man.still saw many people still eating rice and fried rice.and im the one that still eats rice my friends and families in any buffet we go tru
Yeah, heard a lot about Vikings from many PI videos , 👍🏽
When in a buffet, definitely no white and garlic rice but if there's Chinese or Japanese fried rice or Paella, those are must gets. I dive in the most in the Tempura bar. I almost always take a pass on their steaks. I'm just not a steak lover.
To refuse rice eating dat delicious sushi now that was the question...🤣🤣
haha that's always Sayings of A wife Specially Filipina..
"Whats yours is Mine And Whats Mine is Mine"
Yes!
😲😲😲love love vikings buffet.
Food looks great, did you try the lamb? Also I love ribs falling off the bone, did they have them? I'm going there next week!
We love lamb but we hadn't seen it. Next time!
i dont eat rice when i am in a buffet. bec it is waste of space in your stomach.
I’d travel to a big city just to eat at Vikings. I tried the Chinese buffet of the same company in SM Palawan. Great Video.
Try spiral buffet. Best buffet in the world according to local and international vloggers!
Oh..great your canadian guys i have a couzins there ,theyre half filipino canadian they live there in alberta
Spiral Buffet is the biggest in the country but located in Sofitel Manila.
People with money usually go to Vikings but those who have less money go to MangEkings carinderia. Atleast may Kings pa rin.
I see everybody is now asking you to go and try the Spiral Buffet in Sofitel Manila, but the difference in price is double than Vikings 🤭🤭 Vikings has another buffet that I liked called The Alley by Vikings, in there you'll walk through different themed alleys which makes it easier to choose and see all the foods they have and food is not too much on your face which makes you feel full even before you eat 😅and great for pictures too🥰
most of us (at least me and my friends and relatives) dont get rice when eating at a buffet or at parties. you're right, get the most expensive food available.
The smaller restaurants, carinderias & food outlets offers the same & sometimes better foods.😎
And cheaper!
I wonder what ube bread taste like? My mom use to always make ube pudding, but that is the only thing that she knows to make out of ube.
SPIRAL in Sofitel Manila is a must. Even named as Largest and best in Asia.
vikings manila is bigger guys.. If ur into buffet, check out 101buffet also in MOA complex just in front of conrad hotel
WOW! Unlimited beer & discount for people wearing eyeglasses!! Need to go back home!
I was in vikings bacolod sm mall a few weeks ago . It was enjoyable too but you know its the old chinese trick of giving you a small plate instead of a large one ! 😀
Same for me as well, I go for the expensive ones that I don't normally get to taste. And I also don't put rice during buffets. It get's me full faster. And that's not a sin for me for being an iloilo native. 😃
Don't eat too much rice in the buffet, so that you can eat more.
I love Vikings!
Funny how many people commented that Michael is wrong that Vikings is the largest buffet in the Philippines. They're just here for the experience and what they saw on the website ya'll. Here in Iloilo this type of buffet restaurants is not our go to place to eat. Lots of restaurants can be found here in Iloilo City for a reasonable price and more delicious than Vikings or your Spiral buffet. We Ilonggos can live without them. ( just saying 💁🏻)
Yummy 😋 I've been to the viking buffet in makati in Manila. It also was good 👍
I love watching your videos you are awesome
Yes it's OK I go for the good meat and shrimp first😁😁
No rules, but I don't do rice at any buffet. Because you're right- save that tummy space for the good stuff, not the fillers!
Speaking of Boracay, it's world-class, so the cost is the same. Haha! There are beaches in Panay that have white (coral) sand- everything you want in Boracay sans the sky-high cost and the crowd.
As a Filipino, I would still get rice in an Eat All You Can Buffet. But I will just take a little quantity of rice and fill my plate with as much food as I can eat.
Nice vlog!!!
Rice is life but there you should enable zero rice mode :)
Rice is life LOL well that's what they say.... but Tea is a morning breath LOL
Haha Mike
I love the printed T-shirt of your beautiful lady companion, the printed words "west Philippine sea".
Is she a Chinese Pilipina?
Sorry but I think the Viking buffet is not the larget buffet restaurant in the Philippines, I believe it's the Spiral buffet in Sofitel hotel, I've been there in the Viking buffet it's not big or large..
Yall need to try Spiral.
i usually don't eat rice in a buffet.
food coma is the goal...😁😁😁
Yeah vikings is bussin
Mang inasal owner from Iloilo also
Where’s the bubble tea? 😱
Spiral Buffet is the grandest buffet in the Philippines, not Vikings. I guess you haven't explored other buffets to make a comparison.
We just went off the Vikings website claim and it's the biggest we have seen also. Spiral we heard alot about but we also see the price is $90 Canadian per person so it better be haha
That’s a lot of juice option 🤤🤤
Kids🤸♂️🤸♀️...Inside WILLY🎩 WONKAS CHOCOLATE🍫 FACTORY🏭👨🏭👩🏭🍧
Harry Roque approved 👌
Dafuq...
They serve henichen driks also😊
I may say this buffet is compatible or better than the ones in Las Vegas and the price is much much more affordable. I am jeolous. Let's move to the Philippines and retire there 😆 on $3,000 U.S. dollars a month budget. I may have a better living.
You are going live comfortably with a $3000 monthly budget especially if you live in the province.
