- Switching from a rotary mower to a reel mower. It is not hard and can be done. Bermudagrass is an alphagrass. Taking it down to where you want it all at once will not hurt the lawn. It may take a few passes but can be done all at once. I took the lawn from around 2 inches down the 5/16. All at once, no waiting every few days!

Dude! I really hope things improve, cause it's looking a little weak right now. Has it been real hot by you or does Bermuda grass just suck? NO, but seriously, looks pretty good, I think we've all had challenges this Spring so far with our grass, considering the weather across the country has been bonkers!
