Great updates Dave. Always happy to learn that Candice is doing well. Speaking of, I’d love to get a peek at her Dawn Redwood forest once it starts pushing out. You may remember that I’ll be planting my DRs in a forest planting this spring, so I’m interested to see how Candices forest is doing.

I like the bridge. I bet if you go to a hobby store, you can get some great HO people walking through the bridge or deer feasting on the moss which could simulate grass. Great updates.

Some great updates Dave and I am really interested to see where you go with that BIG Ficus. The best bit of advice was one we should all listen to sometimes...'just leave them alone' :)

In the dark basement by me, my pom is growing long and leggy, but I will not cut anything back until spring. I am just enjoying the growth.

Yesterday I ordered a PA from Wigert's Bonsai. I used to live a couple miles from Eric and Andrea.

I love Wigerts. Just ordered some large mica landscape pots from them.
If you’re ever on the East coast of FL check out Dragon Tree bonsai. I picked up some Japanese Black Pines for $10 . Unbelievable selection and pricing. His bald cypress are amazing.

    Hey Dave! Great video.
I also have alot of bonsai in one room and i just found i have an infestation from APHIDS from a Schefflera i purchased. Can you please do a video on how you keep up with any bugs or infestations and what you do if you do get an infestation? so far i have used Safers pesticide on all my plants, and will do another round in a day or two. Id love to hear your routine and your fixes!

For the branch that has fallen. Can you break it at one end and measure the side of the pot length to show it fallen and then cut or break the top of the branch to mimic a lightning strike? Might look good for that fallen off branch. Just a thought while looking at it closely, the 2 pot or forest.

Love your shows Dave. I was an admirer of Candice and have a Jaboticaba like her. Do you know what happened to hers?
