Boxwood & China Doll Trims: Dave's Bonsai E420

In this episode, I clean out and thin out the Boxwood over rock planting as well as my China Doll from William. This boxwood is becoming one of my favorites in my collection, It's getting some character.

China Doll. Cool looking trees in this forest setting. That is a lot of work pruning. But, with your skills, Dave, this is going to be a better looking forest in the long run.

Cool boxwood! I think the blue scissors are a trademark for Nigel. Nice pruning of the boxwood for some good summer growth.

The boxwood looks amazing. It will be fun to check out the roots at the next repot. I should find a china doll. It looks like a good tree to play around with.

Diggin your technique with the boxwood, I like the domed top. I should probably focus a bit on that part too.

I am with Nigel on this one - I am just going at my box right now and they are back to bare wood almost! Although i do like the final look of yours with all that greenery on it - still looks very natural :)
