It looks great mate, best so you’ve had so far.
I was actually a vehicle inspector for a different car auctions that operates in a similar why, I get what you’re saying about the abs being ticked even though there’s a fault, thing is as an inspector it’s such a monotonous job walking round cars all day, very repetitive and you lose yourself in it, you’ll inspect a whole car and then barely remember doing it, I did it for 5 years before moving on to buying and selling, there are claims processes you can go through that do work, but I promise you those inspectors work hard man!
Just discovered your great channel. Keep up the good work!
This car looked great at the end of the video, best wishes with the sale❤.
I own a 63 plate Vauxhall Corsa which had gunk under the oil filler cap but was told by my mechanic not to worry about it. It is because I only use it for getting to work which is 6 miles there and six miles back. The engine doesn't have time to warm up properly. Your Corsa seems like a fine example. It would be interesting to find out how much you sell it for. Thanks for the video.
I once had a audi a3 petrol with gunk on the oil filter cap which was just condensation when my mechanic took a look..
I had the same issue with an 04 meriva load's of gunk under the filler cap due to condensation from too many short journeys
This can be a sign of head gasket failure but a more sure sign is oil in the coolant or bubbles of water on the dipstick (like the inside of Aero chocolate)😂
What about mot
@@JohnMackay-w6o MOT said there was a slight oil leek under the rocker cover.
I love African cars , best in the world
You need to use cutting compound to polish, Autoglym SRP has no cutting compound in it, for a faded red car, you need proper stuff. Menerza heavy cut compound is like 8 quid a bottle and would have sorted that paintwork out properly 👍
Ok thanks I will give it a try
Or mequires is great 👍
Thats crazy how much a old corsa still sells for
Great video mate, new sub here!! You sound like Bristol way?? Might be wrong
Yes I’m based in Bristol
easier way to get the sticker residue off, EGR or brake cleaner 👍
I used to use wd40 but t cut is less messy
Do you sell your cars with a warranty mate? Or just sold as seen?
As I’m currently trading from home I don’t offer warranty and people buying from facebook and gumtree don’t expect warranty and the car is cheap so yeah basically sold as seen
@@Jameyscarflips thanks mate. Do you advertise on autotrader at all?
@@georgerichardson9875 I have in the past when I was in my unit but as I’m selling cheap cars I’ve had better results from Facebook and gumtree
We still need to by law tho 3 months
I buy from BCA. It not really same as buying unseen. You see a condition report plus loads of photos plus a condition grade.
i wouldnt buy online either
@@Kennynwten that's the way it is now and I prefer it. Much better than the physical auctions.
You can’t trust those reports as I’ve been stung a lot from bca in the past
Wouldn’t say it’s due a service? Nearly 10k miles since the last one 😂
Every 10k is about right for these engines, cheaper to do regular oil changes rather than leaving it, and have to pay £600 for changing a timing chain.
I found an invoice after I filmed the video it was last serviced 04/04/2024 at 102k miles I just forgot to include it in the video as I found it after it was filmed

@@stevenc5227 6k miles is better
I don’t trust any of the vehicle reports that BCA do
me neither
I think they are pretty fair TBH. In fact, if anything they are over-critical.
@@mrdeafa25 fair enough mate, if your happy with them, that’s fine I can only go on my experience with them
£2000 retail?
I’ve listed it for £1550
