  • This is an excerpt from a drum instructional workshop at Tulane University on October 2, 2009, with bass drummer Keith Frazier and snare drummer Derrick Tabb. Here the drummers lead the rest of the band on their arrangement of James Brown's "Talkin' Loud and Sayin' Nothin'".

Everything this man does is the mark of a good drummer. Just like Buddy Rich he puts a signature on his playing. A drummer that always is a STAR and a STANDOUT is a musician a drummer who sets his own style. Others try to copy Buddy and others try to copy this man. No copy cats be yourself and once again, this man has his name on this and he deserves recognition., I can appreciate his talent loud and clear.

Im sure this guy is great and could be the best, but Its really annoying seen groove creation made for others not being able to play it... that is the spirit behind New Orleans drumming? I dont think so...and what is more annoying, I can play this.
