Thanks so much for watching, liking and commenting. Please consider subscribing to help our channel grow! The bell pottery piece is the Maker's Mark from J. & M. P. Bell pottery in Glasgow - an extremely unusual find for our area and this particular beach :) You can support us by buying us a virtual coffee on KoFi - link in bio, banner image and about section! xo Thanks so much, Nicole & Craig

Relaxing and interesting. Craig's historical information was eloquently presented! Very enjoyable video.
And... I'm guessing both pottery pieces are transferware . The faded one may be masquerading as spongeware!

Thanks ever so much Linda! The piece on the left is Transferware and the right one is Spongeware - the lines on Spongeware tend to be blurry, Transferware has a crisp print :) Seeing beauty in the broken... I love Kintsuki! xo

The beauty that lies in the partial, and broken, brought back to life" That is a superb motto for your channel, and really reflects life, as does kintsuki! Includes the beauty of your surroundings. I love pottery pieces, so unique! This was a nice lark! Cheers from PA!

Thanks ever so much Ruth! Seeing beauty in the broken... I got goosebumps ( twice) when I saw the section on Kintsuki Craig had put together... it reminded me of people! You could be at that beach for hours - I think 6 hours was probably the longest I have spent there and I have been there in a snowstorm and found amazing treasures! You can sneek peak the jewellery on our etsy shop :) Take care xo

    Liebe Nicole,
    Lieber Craig,
    Liebe Grüße Jette

    • @scottishmudlarking
      @scottishmudlarking  3 роки тому

Liebe Jette, Oh fast richtig!

Thanks so much Andrea! The bell piece is really stunning and very rare - it's was actually made in Glasgow by the J & MP bell pottery. We tend to find only pieces that were made locally, so it's fab to have found this piece! Glad you enjoyed the video :)

    Hi Nicole and Craig,
What a beautiful wee pieces of pottery! Especially the star find of Nicole. That's gorgeous!😍
The two pieces of pottery in Nicole's hand: the top one is transferware, the bottom one songeware.
Thank you Craig for the history lesson, I really enjoy that with every video.
There is a little hiccup in the video at 23.35 😉
I'm very curious about the mosaic Nicole is going to make. The preview looks amazing!
Wishing you both a wonderful weekend!
Sending lots of love and a big hug,❤ Ilona

Very enjoyable video. Love the ocean wave heart shaped piece of pottery. Sound of wind and waves so relaxing. Two days ago we had temperatures of 38°. I would welcome that nice breeze. Thanks. 🌞💕🇺🇸

Thanks so much Rosemarie! Oh I think it's getting chilly here now, the geese are starting to fly away to warmer places :) Heart shaped pieces are so lovely, and I always keep them aside! xo
