    35:59 It was built in 1975 and wore just about every paint scheme that CP had including the infamous and ill-fated St. Lawrence & Hudson scheme of the 1990s. It was renumbered to St. Lawrence & Hudson #5690 in January of 1997, and later repainted and renumbered to CP #5690 in December of 2006, and was also equipped with cab signals and notched pilots for use over New York City's Metro North Line.

    Lots of info and history packed into one amazing video! I've missed the regular uploads, hope you're back for good. I see you also found the website I use for all of my Canadian Pacific locomotive info. As for EHH, well, let's just say i've got my opinion about him and he did make railroads and stockholders very wealthy when he ran them. I bought his autobiography, and it really does explain why he ran things the way he did. Anyways, great video, as always AC

    • @Trains21
      @Trains21  5 років тому +1

      Thanks Canadian.. I'm glad you enjoyed it.. I know your opinion of EHH is more favorable than mine is but I can say good things about him and his precision scheduled railroading.. But that will come in another video.. In the meanwhile, I should be around for a while and as such, I need to catch up with the content on your channel.. Take care.

    Excellent talking video, AC! Usually, intermodal containers show up only on trains 36T and 37T but here's a decision: With the installment of WNYP's new GE locomotives, Norfolk Southern may do an update for October 18, 2019 as intermodal trains are gonna be available in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The following train symbols to arrive on December 30th, 2019 are 20M (Bethlehem, PA to Binghamton, NY, Bethlehem Yard to East Binghamton Yard), 22Z (Bethlehem, PA to Chicago, IL, Bethlehem Yard to 47th Street Yard), 21K (Chicago, IL to Bethlehem, PA, 47th Street Yard to Bethlehem Yard), 24J (Ayer, MA to Allentown, PA, Ayer Yard PAS to Allentown, PA), 22M (Binghamton, NY to Bethlehem, PA, East Binghamton Yard to Bethlehem Yard), 25E (Allentown, PA to Harrisburg, PA, Allentown Yard to Rutherford Yard) and 20G (Bethlehem, PA to Toronto, ON, Canada, Bethlehem Yard to Lambton Yard). Coal trains are also gonna be released in Northeastern Pennsylvania, this time, usual locomotives on them are SD70ACCs or SD70ACUs, including 560 (w/ DPU), 589, 615, 606, 694 (w/ DPU also), 600, 603, 510, 542 (w/ Pan Am DPU in the middle), 517 and 541 (w/ two Pan Am DPUs, one in the middle and one on the rear). So are those the unit trains that are coming soon this fall, Trains21?

    Awesome video with great info... Man, wish I could have seen the D&H in the CP days. Sure, we still have the North End but its nothing compared to what it was a few years ago with frequent oil trains and interesting local power. However, new CN stack trains from MTL - Philly via CSXT at Selkirk are rumored to be using the CP Canadian Sub starting in October (this was from what I heard the reason for the CP OCS visit last year). Of course, no one is 100% sure of the routing yet but I've heard from a few sources that'll be it. Hopefully, it plays out that way! Also, just one minor correction on the CNO&TP... They redid the dispatcher desks on the line earlier this year so it is now the CNO&TP North District from Cincy to Burnside, KY, and then the CNO&TP South District from Burnside to Chattanooga rather than having the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd districts (Link to the TO thread where I found this out myself planning for my trip this summer: vwww.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?2,4776186,4776200#msg-4776200).

      Canadian Pacific still owns the SOO trackage into and out of Chicago, the former Delaware and Hudson into Albany from Montreal. CN owns the Illinois Central, so they reach to Alabama and Mississippi as well as other tracks in the Midwest. When CP's rebuilt SD9043MAC's were shipped to and from Progress Rail in Mayfield, Ky. it was on CN tracks. Canadian roads still have a firm footprint in America, just not near as big as before.
