Very well done video! The Jordan Star 101 is incredibly undervalued still even at the prices now. With new short print inserts selling over one million sometimes it's crazy a 101 in BGS or PSA 9 or above isn't over a million. It's organic rarity in Star, and that's just much better!
I have a 1985-86 Star Michael Jordan #3 Error card, Portland Trailblazer. Do you anything about this card because I can't find anything....is it real? Is it valuable?
I don't know anything specific about that card, but I just looked on ebay previous sales and it looks like it usually sells in the $20-$60 range. It's certainly interesting card though. There are fake Star cards out there, but this one isn't a valuable enough one to be faked too often, I'd think, so just randomly guessing, I'd guess you have a real one.
Very well done. When I did this video a few months ago (pre-PSA announcement), my holy grail was a photo of Levin hawking the cards on Shop At Home. I didn’t even find a photo of him NOT selling them. The dude is a ghost.
I couldn't even find that photo you're talking. Lots of photos of the pianist with the same name though 😂 I really enjoyed watching your video on this.
Some of the most undervalued cards in basketball imho. I remember looking into STAR and finding a REALLY good website went into all the history and shenanigans that went on, but can't find it again to share for the beenfit of others to consider, typical!
Hey man, I'd love to do another talk. However, this weekend I think we're doing some different stuff for my wife's birthday. How about the weekend after? My Saturday or Sunday morning, which is your Friday or Saturday evening, would both work for me (Sept 2-4 weekend)? What topics you want to focus on this time around?
I believe the star Jordan are true RC finding a real one out there is a real challenge. Star cards remind me of my favorite set called wrestling all-stars many people can't afford Hulk Hogan RC so they choose Topps 85' WWF being true RC. 🤣
Yeah, there's a whole big debate out there about whether the Star fits the categories of a rookie card. There's some things Star did that doesn't quite fit into the normal rookie definition (like no wax packs or boxes, very limited hobby shop distribution, etc). But, regardless, yeah with only like 3K printed, it's a tough find. And with Star having bad production quality, most aren't in very good condition either.
What's a bigger issue is how that star card got a 9 for corners. Not one corner is sharp and that top left corner

I definitely wouldn't mind having one! If I could find a spare few hundred grand in my couch cushions, it'd be high on my list to buy.
Good job my dude! entertaining and educational
Glad you enjoyed it Scott!
The 5x7 star co #26 is Jordans first rookie card

@scoa thank you, I figured they were too good to be true 👍
It's a completely fake made up unlicensed card.
Solid vid!
Glad you enjoyed it!

@@scoa me neither. No photos of him whatsoever. I tried so many different searches.
We’ll done! 😊👍🏽
Appreciate that Victor!

That website wasn't any of the ones I screenshot on this video at all? I found a number of quite good websites as I was putting this video together.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it Brian!

@@scoa We can do around Sep 2-4. I can come up with some and message you a list this weekend.
Good vid
Appreciate that man!
How many fake 86 fleer Jordans out there?
I don't know the number, but I do know it's one of the most faked cards there is.
More than entire Star print run from 1983 to 1986! Probably more than 1988 topps baseball print run!
