This morning I finally pressed the go button on my stereo 9"screen upgrade for my lovely little sport
I was thinking about how to strip off the old unit and I thought let's go on UA-cam and your channel as a refresher low and behold your latest video offering which indirectly covered what I needed and reminded me I had lent my pull pins to someone and I can't remember who so I've ordered a new set before the screen arrives

If i dont have a magnetic screwdriver for the job!- i have tried with some success that a small amount of "Blue -tack" in the channel of the screw sort of "glues" it to the screwdriver whilst you put it into place .
It then comes of on your finger once its done! this might help someone do it if they dont have a magnetic set!.
Great video Paul, I rang Fiat for a price for them 4 little radio caps…£84 😳…I said to the guy they must have a warehouse full of them as no person in sound mind will pay that…lol….i bought some Chinese ones from eBay but they’re crap colour match in cream.
Yeah the black ones are also bad colour match. Crazy price from Fiat.

Cloth under the stereo so you don't scratch the dash. BLuetack to the rescue, 2 of my tabs on the stereo didn't make it, also useful to put on screwdriver tip so you don't loose the screws, now if anyone has a broken one beyond repair let me know as I need the right silver strip as mine disappeared.
I've actually bought some decent Halfords Advanced screwdrivers which are actually magnetic at long last. Game changer.

@@Love500 I hadn't realised that I need to wash the Matt finish differently from shiny finish car's & the danger is creating glossy patches by rubbing too hard or using polish's that are too abrasive..
I like the Matt finish because it's different, & I paid approximately £1000 under the price of a shiny car of same year..
Anyway, I'll get a coffee off 2u at the weekend
