I just rode the route today, there's a new albeit unfinished Pondarosa Bridge and the second big climb is not covered by some gravel with a white talcum like powder mixed in. Thanks for sharing the route and all the great videos. I'd recommend riders hold off on trying a Pondarosa bridge crossing until they have it nearly complete; by the progress seen, I'm guessing completion later this year (2023).

@@GravelBikeCalifornia Yeah, the climb out of Yankee Jim's as the last climb is great! Nice and mellow, compared to the other climbs...that climb out of Ponderosa is a bit pitchy in a couple of spots, putting it nicely. There's another option that uses Iowa Hill to the north, that is another great option. It was beautiful last weekend!

Jumping off Ponderosa bridge was a must if you lived around there. Many a Summer day started of with, " Dude, you wanna go to Pondo?"
