I don't see it happening because you have to make changes and this means making compromises to it's design and thus capability. A nasalised variant of the Typhoon isn't going to be much better than anything else already out there and it would cost India and the UK allot of money to develop it.
It's still quite advanced. Once the whole P3E is complete it's going to be a very capable 4.5 gen aircraft. This is certainly not obsolete or redundant.
It's the most capable 4.5 Gen. air superiority fighter in the world. The planned upgrade package will propel it even further ahead of the big Russian birds.

It got formidable aeronautics of which the aerodynamics don't change. The plane was designed with a lot of modularization in mind and can be continuesly upgraded especially the Avionics can be replaced at ease. It's a great fighter jet. The only inferiority is the lacking stealth capability. It's rumored the Chinese KJ-600 AWACS are said to practically defeat stealth jets. If that is true every nation that can run a 24h AWAC patrolled airspace taking the edge of the F-35. Keep in mind that the F-22 got the better aerodynamics and is not being sold abroad. Whereas the F-35 infamously is a little less maneuverable in a dog fight situation. For now the F-35 is the superior fighter jet. But it's also a bet that the cover of stealth will not be blown in the next 20-30 years. In an offensive role that doesn't care about stealth and just utilizes radar jamming of sorts it would already be the better fighter jet. From my perspective the question untill Gen. 6 is; 1. how fast radar technology development progresses 2. and if it spreads. That could eventually flip the entire strategic advantage and make Gen. 4 outperform Gen. 5 in the battlefield.
