- Let's discuss the story of how the Goldeneye remake came to be. Did this game faithfully recreate the beloved N64 game?

Great video! Keep up the uploads
Great video man, and what a memory unlocked. I completely forgot about this game and the special controller that comes with it!
@@silasburns1525 thank you, I appreciate it! I almost forgot about that golden controller! It was really cool but it only came with the classic edition of the game.
Dying Light intro song is peak
Cool video with some fresh takes on this game albeit containing a couple of inaccuracies, but I don't want to focus on that. Funnily enough there's this dude I met on a discord server that loves this game over Goldeneye 64, but in his words he never had nostalgia for the N64 game because it was not the game he grew up with. I don't think that's the majority of people though.
For an even funnier cash-grab take on Goldeneye you should try Goldeneye: Rogue Agent, which is not great but certainly not as bad as the press made it look back in the day.
Well done and keep it up!
@@mrtaufner Thank you so much for the feedback! I'll definitely make sure I triple check all my research for my future videos.
I think you're definitely right about the nostalgia factor. The Wii remake is a good game by it's own merits but being called a goldeneye remake doesn't sit right with it being so different than the n64 game.
I've actually not heard of Goldeneye Rogue Agent so I'll definitely check that one out, thanks for the suggestion!
nice video bro
GoldenEye X is how you actually make a remake of the N64 classic. GoldenEye Wii/Reloaded failed at it.
The pause menu of Goldeneye 007 tryes to have the visual style of Quantum of Solace, but man it really does it bad.
However, the multiplayer is fun. Fun as: it has couch dead match in PS3
@@JohnGarciaOHMSS Yes definitely agree with you there. The visual style was executed quite poorly. The couch splitscreen was definitely lots fun though! Probably my favourite part of the game!
