I'm testing the carrying capacity of the luggage compartment. I try my helmet, an Icon AirFlite Fayder, a gallon of milk, and workout clothes and shoes. Spoiler...everything but the helmet fit
Thanks for doing this! I’m thinking to trade my Rebel 1100 DCT in for a new NC750X. One of my favorite things about NC is the frunk. My Rebel DCT failed within 1800 miles (you can see my video). So I don’t think I’ll get a DCT this time. Like your videos! Keep it up!
@@sonics747 Thanks for letting me know. The problem with my bike is the main shaft. Nothing to do with the motor. I just do not have the courage to buy a DCT bike again.
Icon Airmada Large fits even with the microfiber bag. You have to angle the chin right or left to close the lid. I need to helmet shop again and hate trying to figure out what'll fit
I'm amazed by how much I can cram in there when I stop at the store on the way home from work. I keep a couple bungee cords on there for when I'm too hopeful though lol
That frunk is the reason after 4 years and 30000 miles Im still riding mt 2016 DCT... No other bike offers the versatility of that space. I wish it had GSAdventure size frunk.
I’ve put a tall gallon of water in my frunk. And my helmet which is a medium hjc fits tightly with the bag that comes with the helmet. I love my nc750x it’s fast enough for the freeway and handles great too. Gas mileage is great too! I average 61mpg so I can ride to work all week saving me money on gas. Last time I filled up at 5.19 a gallon cost me $14.64 My taco costs over $80 to fill up #FJB
It's a great bike and I love it - BUT - I have same problem - my SHOEI (XL) flip-up helmet does not fit into luggage compartment ... Greetings and best wishes from Austria ... have a safe bike-season 2022!
Thats not a frunk, its just a built in tank bag. :-) If you really want a frunk then get yourself a Can-Am Spyder, mine takes two large full face helmets.

I don't think I could replace this with a bike without a frunk if I'm honest. Why doesn't every bike have this?!
I think this is the only motorcycle that have the storage space of a maxy scooter and to be honest probably will be my next bike.
Yeah the storage is great, so much better than always having to have a backpack. I'm loving the NC750.

When my buddies that don't ride complain about gas prices, I always agree lamenting how I broke $10 to fill her up.

I think it's the spoiler on the back of my helmet that is jamming it up. I have another xl helmet that fits.
Your helmet is never going to fit! You’ve got a “spoiler” on the back of the helmet! Take that off, and the helmet will fit in the frunck easily.
I think you're right. But I know as soon as I try it I'll break it lol.
