I often look up "beginner spanish listening practice" and your channel always comes up. These are great videos to listen to and there really isn't much like this out there.
I watched it first without Spanish subtitles and I’m really glad that I did. I was able to hear the actual pronunciation better. For example, the soft “b” sound in “oliva”…I really heard it the first time. The second time with subtitles…when I read “oliva” my brain autocorrected that soft b sound to a v sound.

Hi , Two years ago I started learning Spanish with Duolingo, but after 6 months I stopped using it. Two months ago I bought a kit with a book and 2 audio CDs, which I have been studying every day. This personal studies should take about 4 months. I also searched on UA-cam and found your wonderful beginner videos. You are the best teacher to help us learn Spanish. I enjoy watching your videos. My first language is French, so learning Spanish is easier than learning English. You use the comprehensible input method, which is the best for beginners like me. Thank you very much. Yes, at dinner time, I have tried your recipe for brownies. It is simple, easy to make and it is good. This video is a mix of learning Spanish and cooking. I like it. You are wonderful. Thank you for your good work and your originality in helping us learn Spanish in a relaxed way. Claude
I only found your channel last week and am delighted by everything about the way you share Spanish with us. You’re ✨magical✨ and make it such fun. I’ve already learned so much. "Me disfrutalos mucho." It's wrong. Actually, it is a little confusing for English speakers, the verb "to like". The correct translation for "I like it" is "(A mí) Me gusta (eso, subject). With the verb "to enjoy" (disfrutar) it's not the same. "Disfrútalos" it's second person "you, singular", imperative mode, (it's kind of a command, but in Spanish its use is common, even ordering things at cafeterias or restaurants, so don't be afraid to use it because of politeness -if you use a please (por favor, porfa, porfi) it's well received as well-. So, what you said would be "You enjoy them a lot" I guess you wanted to say "I enjoy them a lot". So, the correct way to say it is "(Yo) Los (the videos, direct object) disfruto mucho. Espero que le sirva a alguien. I hope it's useful to someone.

After a lot of training as you learn to go faster and faster on the td it ends up rolling into an r sound
@@ryanpc4039 Hi oh wow this was like a year ago. I'm now well on my way with Dreaming Spanish and will return to speaking when I'm ready. I'm not sure now if the way I was doing it was going to work for me to be able to speak at a reasonable conversational pace and rather than force it out and then have to fix a bad habit I figure I'll circle back around when I'm ready to attempt again. To answer your question though I find every video about the trilled R mentions the tongue being towards the front of the mouth but to me at the moment I find I have to move my tongue to what I would call the middle of the roof of my mouth to where my mouth ridge ends and the ceiling of my mouth is higher at the back/middle. Like my tongue is kinda far back to me? but I also never liked dentists putting much in the back of my mouth anyway so maybe it's towards the front like TECHNICALLY maybe but it doesn't feel like it to me. I think I have an easier time with the rolled R when it's a word with an A or an E in front of it like Perro or Carro where I can more easily adjust my mouth in time. I think I just said them both like continuously on the car ride to work for a few days and it clicked.
