Love the video! Keep it up!
No wonder Johnson told Gunny that his escape was classified. It's a long story!
One does not simply kill Sgt. Johnson.
More people should´ve survived ,the first part of the game is focused on the rescue and support of the crew :( sucked everytime a marine or crew member fell of the warthog :(
First Strike (the book about the stuff between Halo 1 and 2) was always my least favourite of the Eric Nyland books. On the one hand I'm not sure how one goes about filling in that hole about going from the end of Halo 1 to them getting back to Earth at the start of Halo 2, on the other there is a lot of convoluted stuff that fills up that time. There's a whole thing about a Forerunner crystal that has massive time dilation properties that can dramatically affect slip space that just never gets answered because a side character blows it up with some C4 and dies. The whole battle on the Unyielding Hierophant doesn't make a lot of sense considering what happens right after with Regrets fleet attacking Earth.
It feels like Microsoft (and probably only Microsoft because of the pettiness of Bungie towards third party groups working on the Halo lore) only told him Master Chief needs to be at Earth at the start of Halo 2 and that was it
According to the wiki, the Unyielding Hierophant fleet was meant to attack Earth, apparently Truth knew it's location. What happened on the UH has destroyed most of it, and the remnants were used in Halo 3 during the battle of Installation 00.
Regret's fleet was only meant to reach the Ark Portal on Earth.
The High Charity's escort fleet was a completely separate fleet from the UH's.
Meaning: the only thing that didn't make sense is the fact that somehow Truth knew Earth is the human homeworld and Regret didn't.
@@NightBeWheat That's where it doesn't make sense. They both weren't communicating but somehow both found Earth at about the same time after nearly 30 years of looking
