Yes it is very powerful and I also remember Earth Song from MY (I loved MY music when was younger and listened it a lot). these 2 are most powerful for me. And yes Aurora is her name but she is 100% Norwegian. But she is very close to Nature and this was her biggest inspiration for her music later she also has other important messages and topic very important for her and she did not afraid to put it in her music. She has always interesting and important lyrics (although sometimes it is not easy to understand on first listen). Anyway i love her music, artistry and expressiveness. As I said she has many great songs (she started to write them from age of 9 although she wrote them for herself and she become singer by a chance). Aurora is a Viking. She sings almost exclusively about important topics. Nature, domestic violence, suicide, murder, euthanasia, depression, equality, homosexuality. She sings, she writes, she produces, she composes and that since she was 6. Today she is 25.

I do know one of her early influences was Bob Dylan, so no surprise that she's definitely interested in social commentary. She didn't become a singer to aggrandize herself, but to help others. Aurora's style of clothing might be influenced by Indian traditional clothing, and they are designed by one of Auroras two sisters. Otherwise I would say that her way of singing has more in common with norwegian singing traditions. In particular herding calls. In addition Enya is one of Auroras main inspirations, so there might be some irish lilt to her voice too.
I'm a HUUUGE Aurora fan, but I've never been super into this song. I definitely love and appreciate the message....but the chorus is just a tad bit annoying? I feel bad even saying that lol...I mean, other than my own family, Aurora is basically my favorite human on this planet. But.....I absolutely _adore_ the line "and just like the seed....everything wants to LIVE." Something about that is so powerful and pure and obvious and deep all at the same time, especially the _way_ she sings the melody on the word "live." Life on earth has SO many disparate and unique reasons for doing what it does. But, the one essential drive ALL life shares....the gravity well we all are drawn to....is the sheer desire to LIVE, to be, to exist, to sustain our being.
