Hey guys, this is a follow-up to my recent video on energy stocks. I thought you might like to know about these ETFs.
One doesn’t need to pay expensive management fees to these ETF companies, but it’s instructive to see the companies they hold in their portfolios.
Two of these ETFs have low expense ratios (.09% for the iShares and .10% for the Vanguard) and that seems reasonable for the instant diversification.

Got it! I asked in another comment about which stocks you like and this answers my question. I understand the desire for dividends. I had been looking at NEE as it's one of the most well-regarded energy stocks. As you saw in my other video, I invested in Vistra (VST) and Constellation Energy (CEG) last week. I'll have to look more closely at NEP and ATO.

I have nothing contrary to say about any of these. Beyond selling picks and shovels, energy is food for the miners. Energy is non-negotiable in the first-world. I'd guess energy stocks are less volatile from over-speculation (versus more popular sectors) and economic troubles. Let me know when you launch your own ETF. I like ANDO for the ticker.
ETA: I'm going to have to stop commenting so much. This comment is invisible to me even though I'm logged in - I had to go to my comment history to find it. No fun.

Yes but to be objective, we should note that the S&P 500 has a 5-year return of 87.08% and XLE has a 48.55% return over 5 years. So that energy sector ETF (which is mostly oil company stocks) has severely underperformed the overall market over the past 5 years.
This is not financial advice. It is just an observation about the performance of the XLE ETF (energy) vs. the S&P 500
