installing a Nest 3rd gen learning thermostat on a Vaillant Ecotec Plus 831. All you need to complete the job is a set of wirecutters , flat shape and star shape screwdivers, takes around an hour trimming wires is the most time consuming part.

Great video. Just moved in to a home with this boiler. What's the earth wire connected to on the nest OT2 to? It looks as if it is bridging to the live?
