I used to be Mopar only, but as I've gotten older I think that any car someone puts their time into is cool. Loved the camera under the hood. Keep moving forward!
Totally cool video! LS makes the world go round. You most certainly got my attention, sneaking into a all MOPAR event, with a sweet car, and LS powered. Congrats!
Awesome! Love the hidden camera. I often wondered what people said about my car at shows. I would walk away, then come back like I was looking at it also to see what they were saying, lol.
Lol, that was great. I'm not a big Mopar fan, so I enjoyed that. I can appreciate any vehicle tho. I had a 77 Dodge Titan RV with a 440. That thing was a beast. Glad you had a good time. Great video!!
I tell you what I’m wanting to do. Is have a Gen 3 hemi setup in the bed of my ls swapped d150 and use a gm trans but have a bellhousing for both. Take engine hoist, catch pans, all the stuff I need to swap. Goto ls fest, then Sunday evening find a spot in hotel parking lot and swap the hemi in stay all week and take it to moparty the following weekend with the 5.3 in the bed.
Also another thing let’s all be real in the Muscle Car Era Mopar Was King Power and so many Different Trim Features and models then close second power wise and beauty I give to the Ford fastback mustang cobras built by Shelby. Everything after that was Chevy 😂 do love a Chevelle SS 454 tho
I actually remember seeing this car at MoParty. I was there in my Polara. Made the run down from Ohio. I didn't actually find this channel until after MoParty when I was looking up Dodge Charger videos.
Love your Duster man. I'm planning on building myself a Duster with twin turbos, a Cadillac LH2 Northstar, an A518/46RH trans, a Ford 9" rear and with Mopar Performance leafsprings. It's gonna have to be a "little bit" on the ratty side, because I'm definitely not rich. Keep up the good/hard work.
I'm not to big on engine swaps. But it doesn't bother me. It cracks me up how some of those old guys were physically upset when it registers what's going on. Hilarious.
Those guys in the auto mechanic shirts must have been so confused as they are looking at a LS swapped duster and a mustang rolls by at the same time in a mopar car show 😂
@@camracing i can't remember the vendor but someone had the shortblock for $4k around November, i thought about it but i have a perfectly running LS3 and no funds to spend on something that would definitely smoke my 6L80. Nice car though and props for being hands on as there is less and less of us out there
I don't hate LS engines, I'm well aware that they make good horsepower and are very dependable but you don't see a top fuel dragster with an LS type engine, do you? :-)
Lifelong Ford guy, but I do not blame anyone for swapping out their Ford or Mopar drive line for an LS. Great power and dependability, not to mention the parts availability to improve and make massive amounts of power without breaking the bank. Ford and Mopar both made their own performance parts for decades and charged far more than parts than the parts for Chevy. More bang for your hard earned buck.
About 30 years ago at the dodge dealershdealership where I was working we had a yearly all mopar car show. On this occasion a fellow showed up with a 36 Plymouth (if I remember right). When he got into his spot he opened the hood and had a small block Chevy under there. He was told that his car could stay , but wouldn't be judged for the show prizes. He got so much grief from the onlookers that he left after an hour. He was sporting a really nice car and had a good amount of money invested. Couldn't understand why he just didn't put a small block mopar in it.
Well then keep on crying pal cause u seem to forget the purpose of hot rodding which is installing non-factory parts into any car of choice. Have the day u deserve.

Definitely agree with that first sentence, that’s what it’s all about. Appreciate it!
Totally cool video! LS makes the world go round. You most certainly got my attention, sneaking into a all MOPAR event, with a sweet car, and LS powered. Congrats!
I'm glad more ppl r willing to hot rod a car to their taste. I personally love everything American and u rly can't go wrong with Mopar and an LS. 😊👌🏻
There is a 55 chevy in Drag Week with a Ford engine.
she came out so good, the hate runs deep on that LS lol, watching here with bryce way to go dude!!
Prefer it be Mopar powered, but at least it American, old, rear drive muscle. Im impressed, honestly. Keep up the good work.
I love Bowling Green ,me and a friend went to a Buick show years ago...and later a Vette show...
That was gold!
Haha there was some funny reactions!
Ahah great video, I have a LS swapped 70 Charger, love the disapproval look of the purists :-))
Awesome! Love the hidden camera. I often wondered what people said about my car at shows. I would walk away, then come back like I was looking at it also to see what they were saying, lol.
Awesome video! Had a great time talking with you again man!
Thanks for the shout!

I’ve thought about doing something like that before but for all three events. Would be a lot of planning ahead but would be so cool once it’s all done
That is hilarious! Lol
I guess I am going to have to make the trip next year. It looks like a good time
Definitely!
I freaking love this
hahaha as a mopar guy I think this is awesome! nice work man. The LS idea has crossed my mind before, but as of now I'm sticking with my LA 318
Great video and really cool car! You're killing it on the camera footage (hidden and otherwise) too! Keep making videos.
I thought you might go. I was looking for you on VGG vid. I didn’t see you.
The camera was a cool idea. Keep on keeping on 👍✌

Should of added in the Horn on the General Lee jumping lol.
Absolutely love this build

Ah no kidding man, I’m up in Ohio too👍
Love your Duster man.

I thought the hidden camera was great. Watching people's reactions was quite entertaining
Haha it was definitely funny going back through the footage
I did the same thing with a 67 fury 3 and a 350 chevy about 15 yrs ago. So many ppl thought it was a 318 or a 360. Really funny stuff.
What an achievement to do such a swap in 12 months and drive there and back without issues.
I'm not to big on engine swaps. But it doesn't bother me. It cracks me up how some of those old guys were physically upset when it registers what's going on. Hilarious.
Hood cam was a great idea
Appreciate it! Got some good clips haha
2:16 It was nice meeting you there it was fun
Cool cool! We are building a ls swapped 69 plymouth GTX. 😀
Love that 😂
Was that the Crown Vic re-skinned as a charger doing the jump?
Yup👌
Wanna go fast and be reliable GO LS!!!
Lmbo...the reactions when they looked under the hood😁😆
Those guys in the auto mechanic shirts must have been so confused as they are looking at a LS swapped duster and a mustang rolls by at the same time in a mopar car show 😂
Just in a world of confusion lol
Why didn't you go to LS Fest?
A 440lsx on that Duster would be nice
Would be awesome down the line for sure

What the hell a Mustang at a Mopar show , what will they let in next.
Idk, he had yellow splitter guards on that mustang, basically a Mopar at that point🤷♂️
I don't hate LS engines, I'm well aware that they make good horsepower and are very dependable but you don't see a top fuel dragster with an LS type engine, do you? :-)
That is funny as hell , no rules to car building . At end of the day the LS engine is straight gangster .
get you a dodge engine
I never cross breed but in this case its your car enjoy it and have fun.

People are just dumb asses some times
Some of fastest Mustangs I've seen run LS engines
I’m hoping I can come out next year
Heck yeah, would be awesome
Should totally put a hellcat motor in that thing tho just saying
I love it
Print out an engine sticker that states "But I identify as a Hellcat" my pronouns are "Red Eye, Demon and Smoke"
some of the joe dirts didnt like the ls motor in one of their beloved mopars l o l
🤜💥🖐🤘
inter-racial hits the car scene
there is a special place in hell for people that put Chevy engines in Mopar
Well then keep on crying pal cause u seem to forget the purpose of hot rodding which is installing non-factory parts into any car of choice. Have the day u deserve.
why? why ? why ? no no no god no
Thats the cheapest and quickest way to make a Mopar run, put a chevy drive train in it
