When put cruise on it actually decreases the avg.
This only the highway mileage, city mileage is way lesser, earlier your ODO showed 450km range after full tank and after your drive it showed 665km range because you drove on highway.
This is 65% highway 35% city usage!
And in hector ,the ODOMETER shows range according to the mileage acquired before the fuel refilling, before the first fillup i used my car in city, so the mileage was less , thats why it showed 450km , and after that i drove on highway and city , and the mileage was better, thats why it showed 665km range.

Understand the meter gives instant FE. At what RPM Hector CVT was giving best instant FE ? I am planning to buy one. Mileage was a big concern as most of them says 7,8 etc which is not acceptable at all. Your video has motivated me towards Hector again ❤
Sir city mileage is 7-8 only sometimes creeps down to 6 aswell but highway mileage is good for a car this size, i regularly get 11-13 kmpl and when i drive sedately on highway i get 15 as well
And RPM should be below 2000 , somewhere around 1700-1800

For my 2400 kms road trip, mg hector plus DCT gave 13.5 KMPL Mileage, it is max you can expect from any petrol Automatic SUV ❤

Engine oil OR fuel ( as in high octane fuel) ?
@@dreamcarvlogs does engine oil change matter or xp95 or anything with higher octane fule would help in giving higher mileage
High octane fuel give a little bit better mileage but it costs more so makes no difference, but the advantage is it makes engine life better.
And if u dont change engine oil it reduces engine life and also it decreases the mileage , but changing engine oil frequently doesnot mean it will increase mileage , it will just make sure the mileage doesnot decrease.

@@dreamcarvlogs i wanted to ask you this question so actually my hector is manual and there was this issue with the engine starting so when i am in low speed and I by mistake put a high gear my car could not start so we contacted the mg service thing on the screen and they said you have to lock and unlock the car 20 times to resolve it on the infotainment screen it was saying key failure but gets fixed after that happens in middle of highways. Does this happen to you?
I have heard about this problem in manual hector, meanwhile my hector petrol AT had a different issue which many users faced but mine was solved automatically in 10-12 days
