Vital is insanely powerful for a free plugin, saves $200+ if you’re thinking of getting Serum. This is the video I’ve been waiting for. short, and straight to the point. Thank you
@@Bittamin actually im using ableton live lite. I got it with the arturia minilab mk2! My main goal and purpose is to take this and produce tracks to sell. Then outright purchase ableton. To keep producing more.
Just what I need. Sold all my hardware as it was distracting me. This synth is so powerful and this little series of videos is just what i need. You explain everything so well Thanks so much!!!!
Hi, John! ✌ The frame amount (wavetable position) can actually be modulated in Vital. I am using V1.5.5 and just tried the following: Grabbed the modulation source arrow of LFO1, grabbed and dropped it over the frame slider with the »Basic Shapes« table active in OSC1. Now, with the modulation amount set to full circle, Vital nicely scans the entire table between sine and narrow-width pulse according to LFO1's waveform. Looking forward to the rest of the course, thanks for providing 👍
Hi Manfred, i'm glad you are enjoying the course so far. I think you might of mis-heard me. I say in the video that you can modulate it, and that it gives one of the classic sounds of wavetable systhesis.
I heard the same thing lol, got a bit sceard because if the wave table synth can't do a classical wave tabel synth sound, it would be a waste to learn it.
Wow! Im really excited now to have found a video literally explaining what things do! I am new to producing was recommended this program but was overwhelmed by all the knobs. Its getting late so ill have to watch more tomorrow, i cannot wait to learn more! Thank you! Ill admit i paused halfway through because playing with the voices and glide function was so much fun!
@@Bittamin Slower than I want to with real life events and summertime lol. Ive made a handful of songs, each progressively better than the last as I learn more things. My current project I am now trying to learn about EQ as I get a ton of crackles and pops in my truck at loud volumes, also the overall volume is low compared to professional songs. Its difficult to search for info pertaining to my situation. But yea, ill game most of my free time and then ill binge on fl studio for a few weeks.
Hey, not sure about that specific issue, but normally to reset it after it does something like that, go to the 'advanced' tab in Vital and click on a different 'over sampling rate', then go back to the normal one. Hope that helps
Not sure I follow. Which input? Do you mean for connecting your keyboard? If so that is done in your DAW, not in Vital specifically (unless using the standalone version).
A few less presets if I have the free version? Try none at all lol. Sorry but this is a complete and utter waste of time for beginners, you're treating beginners like seasoned professionals. If it's meant for beginners, then do it slowly.

Learned more about Vital and synths in general in lesson 1 than all other videos I’ve watched combined! Well done
Cool, thanks!
3 minutes in and I already feel really confident. Thank you!

Great to hear!
Just got Vital, so late to the party. This is a Godsend to speed up the learning curve. Thank you, so kind.

Thanks :)
Thank you! This is exactly what i was looking for.
You're welcome!

That is how you learn - don't just listen to us, make sure you mess around with everything in Vital :) Enjoy!
How’s your production journey been going?

Nice tutorial. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
New subscriber here. Great video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge ✌
Awesome, thank you!
Does vital work with a mic? Like using it for streaming or as a vocoder?
Not for live input, though you can bring in your recorded audio I think
I have 20 million presets, I have OCD when it comes to free! 🤣
Now I need to learn how to do it myself!
Thanks
Thanks v much Mark :)
how do you get it to make noise continuously as you are modifying parameters?
the loop mode ♻️
Hi, do you move a point in the lfo and the following lfos move along with it keeping the same relationship??
Anyone getting a buzzing sound that won’t stop? It starts right when i click a note and won’t go away even when i stop clicking the note

How do you type in the exact parameters? I can do it
But how do you record a synth loop to use for a song? Nobody explains this
why i dont have sound in this plugin?
why does my vital have 0 presets when i click on it?
2:42 Travis Scott FEIN
I wish you had let the sounds play more than a microsecond each time you alter a modifier.
I feel like this is stupid question but how do I change the input?

I have no presets.
Total noob to synths. Great first lesson as it demystifies what all these controls are.
2:46 nothing happens when I move that and mine didn’t come with presets
That’s what I’m saying I didn’t get no factory file
A few less presets if I have the free version?
Try none at all lol.
