Last year I found that, for music, I’m much more productive on the iPad. And this year, I discovered the SWAM instruments, which are amazing. Now that Logic has arrived on iPad, it feels like there are no limits. I’m looking forward to what Audio Modeling brings to iPad next!

you guys should tackle making physical modeled sections of instruments (imagine a physical modelled string section, you would have unlimited control over everything)
It’s already under development. Indeed is going to be released before the end of 2023… so, stay tuned!
Brass ensembles would be great. The individual instruments are off the chart wonderful, but together…not so much.

Great! But why can’t one buy at these low ios prices and use the Audio Units in Logic running on a laptop? Aren’t these the same plugins (Logic Pro iPad and Logic for MacBook)?

i’m happy Audio modelling is pay one lifetime license.
Apple Logic pro is subscription based, which i don’t like. is it even possible to actually pay full price for Logic Pro one time payment (ipad!) ??.
Is there any tonal difference on the iPad version? I have an extensive sample based section library already - but would like a custom bundle option to get some iPad solo instruments.
The sound quality of SWAM for iPad is IDENTICAL to the desktop version.

How do I access the Unison Anti-phasing from within iPad? I want to create an ensemble.
Unison Anti-Phasing is available on SWAM Solo Brass only. Expand the GUI and you will find the button on the main view. If you want to create a String ensemble, you need to select different "bodies" with the big arrows on the main view

Currently a broken combination. SWAM and Logic iPad don’t work correctly with GeoShred + breath controller, wind controller can’t control expression when another midi effect is present in Logic.
Can you please detail? Are you using GeoSWAM (i.e. SWAM models embedded in GeoShred) or native SWAM Apps? Did you contact our support desk at supporrt@audiomodeling.com to receive assistance in investigating the issue?
@@AudioModeling I have reached out to support, but stopped receiving replies. I am using the native SWAM apps as auv3, with GeoShred as the midi play surface (midi effects slot in Logic), and Tecontrol breath controller set to control expression in SWAM. The breath controller messages are not recognized by SWAM when a midi effect (GeoShred) is also in use. This setup works perfectly well with SWAM instruments inside of AUM, Cubasis and Loopy Pro. It is only broken inside of Logic Pro for iPad.
@@FriedTapeworm I'm sorry you stopped receiving replies. Can you please tell me the ticket number assigned to your case so w can check why?
In any case, from what you are reporting, it seems the problem must be reported to Apple, since the setup is working perfectly on other DAWs.
Note: be sure GeoShred is sending on a single MIDI Channel (no MPE), and thee channel matches the one of the Breath Controller
@@AudioModeling The ticket is #15230. I have the same behavior with single channel 1 as I do using Geoshred in MPE mode. Changing to midi channel 1 does not solve the problem. Also, when using this setup in Cubasis, I use GeoShred in MPE mode, while using the breath controller on midi channel 1 for expression. SWAM auv3 has no problem responding to both at the same time. I did reach out to the Logic team at Apple, and they said they will only accept a bug report directly from Audio Modeling, and not from a consumer. They also stated I should be following up with Audio Modeling to have it fixed, since they felt it is an Auv3 issue.
My swam plug-ins crash out my logic on iPad every time. Having real issues. The instruments are very good but I have no idea what this problem is.
I’m using an iPad Pro 2020, latest update and nearly 180gb free space. Any ideas audio modelling?.

Hi I’ve purchased so many instruments to run with Logic Pro for iPad. Sadly when I play the alto sax in a project, my iPad crashes (I only tried alto sax). I have to relaunch the app and it keeps on happening. I have a M2 12.9 iPad Pro and I can't think of a reason. Could someone please assist?
