Hey Sajam. I want to introduce my friend's to strive now that it is on XBox Game pass but I've been playing for awhile and they really only played Smash. Playing sets I will destroy them with characters I barely know anything on. It doesn't feel very good for me to sack and I don't imagine it is very fun for my friend either. How do you introduce new players to fighting games?
It depends on how serious they wanna get good I’d say. If they wanna learn mechanics the mission mode helps. But if they just wanna best people up then have them go to the tower and grind it out. If anything why don’t you be their mentor and teach them some basics?
I was at this event, it was so sick! So many people came out despite it being a brand new major. Under Night Top 8 was soooo hype! I never realized Hotashi had a bad mental game. I saw him get visibly frustrated in the Xrd bracket the day before against a good Jack-O main. Same expression as when he was playing against Stealthy.
That grand finals for Under Night was nuts, I don't know the game at all but watching the crowd go crazy made me hype. I think Hotashi may have been having button issues? He kept doing button checks mid set.
There's no May players in the West, there never has been. Early Strive was just an anomaly because the game didn't have everyone's characters. She's probably the least seen character in +R and Xrc combined at times.
I know I'm late but for real though. If Arc System does Shonen FighterZ its over. It will probably be one of the most successful fighting games in history
22:23 it dropped cuz she was too far out of the tornado, if he tried to make it bounce she wouod have dropped out early and he would lose some of the knockdown. Also 27:27 wasnt gonna be plus, too mcuh gravity scale for the full charge setup
I don't hate Leo by any means but after 2-2 tempest v. Aarondamac I wanted it to be so over. You could kill someone with a flashback drinking game with this set alone lol
People complain about Faust 6P? I know it's the internet, and folks do complain about everything, but other than being a commitment, I can't think of anything to say about it. There's also 2S/2K/5K on the table too
Is it even possible to tell the difference between: 1. Happy chaos is hard to pilot, so happy chaos players will make more mistakes on average or 2. Happy chaos is so good that he carries people with worse execution I say this as a happy chaos player What a great tournament
I'm not complaining about ky's 5HS but sajam says it's been buffed and I went back and checked patch notes up until testament release and I didn't find it :| edit : double checked and it literally was in the last patch idk how I missed it the first time
@shiiirro just because a top player wins with the char doesnt make the char top ,sol has huge issues its just that in the right situations he can get big damage and win but everything he has is a commitment and his pressure is very linear, not to mention hes strike/throw.
@@TheeFungUsAmongUs I love when people use the strike throw argument for sol not being a good character when alot of the top tiers in this game are strike throw.

Smash players are vibing. Here in SC we're lucky to have 7 people at a local for Strive or Tekken and the Smash weekly always has like 15 or more.
