When I was a kid, I remember this race and it was just amazing. I remember going to all these races in Marathon, Key West, and off of Fort Lauderdale. I believe it was at the time this was racing at its absolute finest. And then you find out certain personalities we’re doing certain things and it all kind of came together. This was just a very great time.
l was there.. hosted several years in a row.. every year meeting the same ppl it was a nice community.. losing jesse james a few years later hurt.. put a damper on. everything for me for awhile.. but the races went on.. some really good, quality times..
Yeah, there’s a lot of drug runners that were in this. I want to say Falcone was also a drug runner. I believe. There were a lot of drug runners that were running Superboats, and stuff at the time.
@@descent815 Yeah Gus (Gustavo) Falcon was the brother of Willie Falcon. Willie and Sal Magluta were the bosses of the organization and Gus was also involved in trafficking. Gus went in hiding in 1991 and was caught in 2018.
