I just won a 2009 Chevy Impala 3.9L V6 for $1420 out the door today with over 175,000 miles on it at a police auction...your ride runs smooth considering all that mileage! Way to go!
This is my work car. I purchased it fairly new back in 2007 when it had 30k on it (2006 Impala)The only problem I had was I needed to repair the transmission in 2016 when it had 140k on it now it’s still rolling at 190k no lights or nothing on the dash. I save miles on my new car and basically drive the Impala daily. Chevy cars last
@@cberry205 you can replace it yourself just have to pay upside down and reach under the dash. Only problem is it’s in a very tight spot. Three screws holding it in but they’re a bitch to get to
make sure your dome light is not killing your battery. when the charging system is low, the car will do all sorts of funky stuff. this is why your HVAC was acting up. retry the radio, it might work, now.
Anyone who’s owned one of these has probably heard the blend door actuators! But good job getting that nice Impala! I’ve had my 09 for about 4 years now and love it! I just subbed!
I have an 09 with 17k miles and it’s been giving me problems put in a new fuel pump new battery 🔋 it worked but now it cranks and doesn’t turn over do u have any recommendations? Chevy said I may need a fuse block but can’t find any vids online about it any feedback would b appreciated thank you
I’ve come across many of these impalas and these cars are notorious for those blend door actuators going bad (hence the ticking noise). About several of them I’ve worked on made this noise. I owned a 2008 and luckily I never had a problem with mine. Otherwise, they’re pretty good cars.
Everything shown wrong with this car is very easy to fix in your driveway. Just ebay your parts to save money. The actuators are a piece of cake. The airbag module should be easy to find. The tpms light, easy valve stem replacement. Even the traction control is a wire harness failure, easy enough to splice a new one in. Even the hood should be a simple replacement from your local salvage yard.
My Challenger is doing that same crap. I have 3 actuators changed out 2 but didn't change out the other one and now that was is acting up. Shout out to Mom Dukes ! Gotta love the Momma's mines is the same way.
I had watched that video of you changing the actuator on the impala a while back i believe it was a black impala. I had to refresh my self on how to change em, i just brought a 06 buick with 257k miles man runs and drives good no dash lights. I got it from copart thinkin about keeping it n using it for the car business instead of racking miles up on my newer tahoe going to these auctions and making parts runs. Keep the videos coming bro, my youtube starting to pick up as i keep dropping videos. We in the same lane! 💪🏾
We Hustle Daily oh bro i already know, changing them is definitely a headache lol. Plus in this business we wanna spend as less on a vehicle as we can to maximize our profit.
my sister sold a 06 impala with a little over 300k and still running smooth she had bought it new even the ac never broke .3.5 is much better than the later 3.6 with timing chain and oil consumption issues.o yeah those actuators are annoying lol
300k on it? I have a 2010 with the 3.5 engine and was curious to know how long these engines will last with proper maintenance. I use synthetic motor oil too.
Blend door actuator noise. Just bought two (left and right side, one each) new Duralast BDAs (actuators) from Auto Zone. Cost $42 bucks ea. Lifetime Warranty.
I have a 2012 LTZ with 215k miles, hits 130+ no issues, suspension could use some work for sure 😂 and it limp modes cuz of the ABS wire; I'm assuming otherwise I'm cooked.
Hey, that Impala got some looks. Hard to beat "retail red'. Been doing this flipping thing since 1975, enjoy seeing you grow your experience. Hang in there. I've if that a/c, radio and blend door act up be damn sure your battery and alternator doing their thing. Should put out about 13v running. Low voltage screws with lots of things. Also that hot on the left and cold on the right can be simply a can or so low on freon. Don't laugh damn it just do it. Not 100% but often solves the problem. Been there done that more times than I can count on GM split systems.
The radio I was gonna say you may not have to replace it, but the face of it may got bad connection. you can get another face of the radio from a junkyard, it’s a front face with a connection to the unit, you gotta pull the radio out and there are plastic tabs holding on bottom and top and 4 screws (2 on each side). and the cover should come off, you can replace one from a junkyard by testing it. The actuator can be from a junkyard too but i recommend buying it from amazon they sell for $20 each.
I want to sell my 06 Impala $2,500. I had replaced 2 cylinder heads with new seals, new rack and pinion, starter, rebuilt transmission, new throttle body, new trans & motor mount, new front wheel bearings. Just needs door blend actuators and ac. Has 220k miles.
Shout out to your mama! She deserves something special but I’m sure that just having you publicly express your appreciation of her is enough for her. But get her a car anyway!! 😂
I just got an 09 mint 100k on it and runs good everythibg works i have bench seat in front was wondering if i can get a foldable seat version and put it in to have the extra truck space if needed
I can already see why you had to keep jumping the car off the interior light is on and if you change the actuators in the car I can guarantee you you have air and heat on both sides other than that that's a nice looking car quiet and running like a damn sewing machine
I don’t understand how those impalas are so popular and literally every one in that body style has that same problem and act like it’s so totally normal lol
Are the actuators easy to replace? I got the same shit in my 2009 impala. It has others issues too. You’re a flipper, so is it worth to fix and keep, or get a new car ?
I currently have the 09 impala it has 140k and this car has had every problem under the sun from suspension to electrical to transmission do not buy this car
Well hell didn't you sold a car with 300,000 miles a couple of months ago. You shouldn't have no problem with selling it. And get a truck and car trailer.
That noise in the glove box is the actuator for the climate control. I had an impala those things are annoying as hell. Shout out to moms for rolling out no matter what. That dash lit up like a Christmas tree tho

He put that car as far away as he possibly could😁, maybe didn't want to be around when you tried to start it,lol

Yeah but it started up . If lemon shit been f up video and story god body
245,000 is low mileage for an Impala. I sold my 08 Impala with 425,000 miles and never had engine work.
