    Jason, you're still young. I'm older & recommend a 20v impact wrench. DeWault & others make them. It makes short work of lug nuts. You also really need to torque them to spec. I also remember when you bought a gas chain saw. With your set up, I would have gone electric, and just used your generator. If your generator is 4 cycle, you wouldn't need the 2 cycle mixed fuel for the chain saw any more.

    We have stayed at Sherwood Forest, our first trip in our Grand Design 337RLS, December 2018. Sherwood Forest is in a great location. There is an awesome farmers market in Celebration FL on Saturdays. Kennedy Space Center is Amazing. Jetty park, a Broward County park, has a great campground. It is on the Atlantic and canal that the cruise ships, container ships, and submarines use. You can see Kennedy and launches from there too. Been full time in our GD Reflection one year now, loving every minute!

    Sitting at MorRyde getting our IS/disk brake install done and watching your video. Not only did talking to you at the Tampa show cost me a lot of money, but now I know where I got the flu from!!! Don't worry we still love you guys, keep the videos coming.

    Our son started working at the Kennedy Space Center last year. He is a part of the Artemis program that is building the largest rocket (Orion/SLS) ever built. We plan on being there when they launch Orion. He’s an electronic engineer and is in awe everyday he goes to work.

    Have you serviced your wheel bearings? need to give them a few squirts of grease every 3to5k and a tear down and inspection with a proper lube every 10k. A wheel bearing failure is no joke in the middle of nowhere.

    I'm watching from Northern Italy. Thanks for sharing this wonderful part of Florida. We've got to keep 1-meter distance from others, no public gatherings, etc. So glad to share a little time with y'all.

      Getaway Couple I'm still going to work every day. 10-12 hour days is normal. Many longer days when you add in the evenings. America's Airmen are taking care of the nation''s business. I hope that y''all are quarantined ""out of an abundance of caution". Double up on vitamins. Wash you hands. Smile. Thank you for sharing these wonderful shots of America.

    Discount tires is awesome. Going to change my truck tires this week. Thanks for the heads up on the name of the company in Cali. Sorry you missed the rocket launch but that's so common. We live 1hr 1/2 NW of the space center and can see them launch from the house which is pretty cool. Hopefully you can catch one next time you're here. And Carmen at the end is the best. :)

    That wear pattern is a shoulder separation. Cords in the tire are broken and your about to have a blow out

    Fyi. Discount tire in California is know as Americas tire is because there is another tire company called discount tire in cali. There are a few discount tire shops in San Diego still but the rest are Americas tires. Best place for tires.

    To us it seemed that without Carmen assistance that tire change wouldn't have happen. We've lived in Florida our entires lives and have never been there. It's def on our list.
    Feel better Jason.

    Great video guys! A good friend of mine owns a mobile home there in the park and stores his class A in the storage facility there. I stopped by his place for a couple of days right after the Tampa RV show to catch up with him. Good location to many places - including being at Disney World in about 10 minutes!

    That tire wear pattern is called "river" wear pattern. Frequently found on front tires on big rigs, can be minimized often by tire rotation and sometimes a slightly different tread design will help meaning buy a better tire brand.

    I’d dump those cheap tires GD puts on before you have a blowout. Do you run a TPMS?

    • @drinkinslim

      They do run a TPMS. They mentioned it in the video. :) :)

    • @rvdogfl
      @rvdogfl 4 роки тому +1

      TPMS will let you know if you have a air leak. Most china bombs blow with out warning do to the tire coming apart. TPMS will let you know once your tire is blown but the BIG BANG that sounds like a shot gun from your tire exploding will let you know first.

    Leave the hub caps off so you can keep an eye on your oil bath hubs. I did not see oil in your hub. Did you check the oil level in your hub?

    • @SpykersB
      @SpykersB 4 роки тому

      Huh?

    • @rvdogfl
      @rvdogfl 4 роки тому +1

      @@SpykersB Some trailer hubs use oil in the hub instead of grease. With the hub cap on you can not see the oil level . You run out of oil your bearings burn up.

    • @SpykersB
      @SpykersB 4 роки тому

      RV DOG 😮! If one has not seen the differences before, is it obvious to know if your trailer tires have oil vs grease?

    • @rvdogfl
      @rvdogfl 4 роки тому +1

      @@SpykersB Oil bath will have a clear plastic cap with a rubber plug in the center so you can check and add oil. Grease hubs will have a metal cap and some have a rubber plug in the center that you remove and a grease fitting will be inside. If you have a chrome hub cap on your tire you can not see the hub and do maintenance. You will have to remove the tire every time you want to check your hubs. That is why I leave my chrome hub caps off.
