I’m a corrections supervisor and have just discovered you guys about a month ago. I wish I had found y’all a decade ago!! I’ve bought several of your books and am devouring your videos as fast as I can (my schedule is ridiculous) but I’m highly interested in the application of this work to what I do - supervising inmates and STAFF (the latter is actually more difficult at times 🙄). I will check out the membership site so I can hop on the Q&A sessions. Thank you both for all you do!!

I stumbled across The Behaviour Panel and without sounding weird, I have been really so fascinated with every single video. You are incredibly watchable compared to some very arrogant types doing similar things. Of course it’s great to be recognised but you and all the guys remain grounded and humble.
You are all valued and you are all brilliant, similar yet diverse.

Hi gentlemen, great show. If you would like to do a interview on someone who claims to have had a Bigfoot encounter I maybe able to help. I have just finished a 5 year research on what happens to someone coming into the Bigfoot Community and the Bigfoot Community as a System. We have a panel of academics who have gone through a lot of the craziness and have a couple of people you may wish to interview about their experience, they would be willing to come on your show as well. I will shoot you a email with more information. Thanks for what you do. - leon

This is fascinating, thank you to you both for posting. Re the first question you answered, @Gregg and Scott - would you consider covering an interview with OJ Simpson found on You Tube called OJ Simpson The Lost Confession? 'Hypothetical' or a longer version of the same interview on OJ Simpson The Lost Confession 2018 (full documentary) on The Behaviour Panel? A 2006 real life interview with OJ where he pretty much confesses to the murders but then tries to pull it back. It's one of the most remarkable interviews I've ever seen when it comes to what is being said and body language, and is chilling. Fingers crossed.

I find when I’m more quiet and respond with acting like “get them” the walls come down faster. When I’m aggressive it just doesn’t seem as productive. I won’t say a word when someone’s yelling at me. I don’t respond right away but I do kind of stare into their eyes the whole time. Maybe this helps them realize how loud and ridiculous they’re being because their the only ones in the conversation? LOL I’ve never thought this much about why I or those around me do the things they do. I don’t totally understand my own behavior and it’s really helped! Thank you for all the great questions and answers! From now on when I meet anyone new I’ll remind myself to start from scratch and see what I see and not what I wished or used to personally. I’ve experienced a lot in my lifetime and it’s true that this can help see the same issues and such in others. I can go on and on about how fascinating and fun you all keep this! Thank you! 🤗❤️👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻

Habits are almost always self-soothing behaviors. It's sort of a primal thing, and it is subconsciously bringing your vibration to the 432 MHZ, which is connection to "source."
Now that's nothing to do with body language as far as looking for signs of someone who is trying to hide something or if a certain type of test to diaspora someone, ect.

Is it possible to see deception when the subject has dementia ?

    • @linwei-lee110
      @linwei-lee110 Рік тому

Answering you as someone with a brain injury (originally categorized as severe, now somewhere between severe and intermediate) that impacts my memory. I'm not an interrogator, or even a good judge of character. But I spend a lot of time with other people who also have difficulty with memory/common sense, so dementia, Alzheimer's, and brain injury. Unlike people with dementia who have universal cognitive deficits, there are parts of my brain that function well and other parts that function poorly.
The only people with dementia I've met who knowingly lie are thieves who out themselves because they will tell you their rationalization out loud as if it would make sense to you. For example, "I didn't switch the name tags between your new walker and my old walker with the wheel that falls off. But, if someone did something like that, what would it matter because you have a husband to buy you a new one and I'm all alone."
However, being honest while relaying information that is factually inaccurate is widespread for multiple reasons.
*Haphazard coding of information into long-term memory means that people often can't prioritize what information gets coded into long-term memory. For example, remembering you had pizza yesterday, but not necessarily whether you remembered to mail your tax form.
*Fractured memories often occur when you are given too much information at one time and/or information that doesn't need to be acted on in the moment. For ex, if you and your aide are going grocery shopping and you take the envelope with your tax returns to mail. At the grocery store you start emptying out your purse to find your wallet. When you put items back in your purse, you don't include the tax envelope because you don't normally carry around mail in your purse and so assume it's not yours.
*Filling in the memory gaps based on your pre-cognitive deficit life. For ex, you were always responsible about filing taxes, you know dementia hasn't changed your personal ethics, so you believe you mailed in your tax form because you are a responsible citizen.
*Filling in the gaps based on available corroborating information. You come home, see "mail your tax form" on your calendar, remember putting the envelope into your purse, check and see the envelope is gone, so believe that you mailed it.
*Filling in the gaps by confusing your fantasy life with reality. You've always daydreamed that one day you'd get a $20,000 tax return and travel on a cruise ship around the world, but don't remember that you never earned more than $18,000. So, you believe you are telling the truth when you show everyone brochures from the cruise lines and brag about your $20,000 tax return.
*Filling in the gaps based on a false analogy. For example, you are not allowed to pickup any item that weighs more than 5 lbs. The physical therapist said it's too hard for you to do because it's too heavy, so you could injure yourself.
      A. You believe you mailed in your tax form because the envelope weighs less than 5 lbs, and you always do things you are allowed to do.
      B. You believe you didn't mail in your tax forms because taxes are hard to do, hard things can injure you, and you are not allowed to do anything that might hurt you.
      C. Oscillating between both statements.
      D. Combining both statements.
