Ich habe die Finalrennen ja bei der Liveübertragung verfolgt und nun kommt von dir so ein Video, wo man den Blick aus dem Cockpit auf das Geschehen und das Wolkenbild hat. Eine bessere Ergänzung kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. Außerdem natürlich nochmal herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Titel. Ich denke, deine Entscheidung an diesem Tag unter dem Luftraum lieber die Umwege unter den Wolkenstraßen in Kauf zu nehmen war der Grundstein für deine Gesamtsieg. Unfassbar clever. Ich würde mich über mehr solcher Inhalte freuen. Wenn es in dein Konzept passt, dann wäre vielleicht ein Kommentar schön, der im Rückblick nochmal die Phasen und Entscheidungen erläutert.

I'd love to fly and compete in a grand prix style Race. I thought about trying that out with local pilots in Wa state this last summer, but I just don't think most of the pilots are interested. They would rather go fly random turnpoints, I think a fixed task is more interesting and challenging sometimes.
We also have a small competition in our club where we use the SGP format with distance handicap. So an older gliders needs to fly less distance than a better glider. Great fun and everyone learns a lot... Highly recommended!

How does your 'old' ASG-29 compare to the JS-3, Ventus 3, AS-33? Clearly didn't slow you down too much...?
At SGPs there is a controversial rule to limit the wing loading to 48 kg/sqm. Less weight is saver to fly in difficult conditions in the mountains but the rule favors gliders with a larger wing are, hence they are allowed to fly heavier. Older gliders and the Ventus 3 have this advantage, JS3 and AS33 are developed for the 600 kg MTOW and a high wing loading. With two Ventus 3 I had a long glide, where I was able to keep up with them up to 150 - 160 kph, when it was faster the Ventus 3 was better. I don't have a direct comparison to JS3 and AS33 but I believe they are not performing much better than the ASG29 due to the rule. ASG29 has 10.5 sqm wing area, Ventus 3 has 10.84 sqm, JS3 and AS33 have 10 sqm.

The thumbnail with "Damaged Glider" and the horizontal on the ground was worrying. Not really damaged. I'd say it was a mechanical issue.

wow, it's really, really unaffordable for most of us.. even PARAGLIDING PARACUTES, it's still decades before we save up to buy them..... even though I hope for humanitarian tasks in the mountains: determining the coordinates of lost climbers, got the coordinates of the locations of hotspots forming forest fires, helped with the delivery of supplies by air.... I thank those who are interested in helping.....
If I could build a ship like that, maybe I would travel around my country

Congratulations on the overall win, Grand Prix World Champion. You are on the very short list of people to beat Sebastian Kawa in a World Championship! To give the uninitiated an idea of what an accomplishment that is... From 2004 to 2021 Sebastian has won every World Competition he has entered except four, and only one GP. Why do you have a palm-up grip when you release the spoilers? After all, this is not a natural grip and it is not comfortable. You gave up control and removed the flaps with your right hand, although you can do this with your left hand while the glider is rolling; the spoilers are extended and there is no need to work with them..... Is this a problem with your left hand?
