Stefan, really like the format of this video, very useful for us up and coming glider pilots... walking us through what you see in the sky and the ground, wind conditions, and decision making is super helpful!, thanks!!!!!!
This glider has no engine, so it doesn't need any fuel. For the sustainers and self-launch engines you usually can use both. A lot of people use Avgas because it smells less...

My general rule: Go for the big cloud! Did it work?! The lack of sun was disturbing
Yes, the big one was the better option. There was or used to be more sun on the ground.
Belo voo 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏...
Looks cold. Took a long time to take off- have ballast?
Completely ballasted and our runway is uphill
What are all those fields of yelllow??
It's rape (the noun, not the verb). Used to produce oil.
Is this taken on a 360 camera? WHich one do you use?
Insta 360 X3
Thanks, do you find that it overheats
💯
Hey , I know this is a stupid question but do the gliders use aviation fuel or normal fuel ?
This glider has no engine, so it doesn't need any fuel. For the sustainers and self-launch engines you usually can use both. A lot of people use Avgas because it smells less...
I did in Räyskälä masters 95km glide 165kph LD 495 :D

Option a the small building cloud
In this case the small one didn't work. An other pilot tried it and then flew to the big one. Cost a lot of time
