There's just one problem with the videos that Jack, Daniel, and the entire team of Andertans do. The video length says 14 minutes, but when I check the time after watching it all, 40, 50 or even 60 minutes have passed! Boy we return and return to the beautiful musical motifs and the humor you do endlessly! Big thanks to all of you for these beautiful stuff that we're deeply appreciating! Wish you all well!
You need to keep this going Jack! Or what I’m trying to say is that I need it. A wonderful personality and so much musicality. Makes learning fun. Please make more of this. I’d be willing to pay for this (says alot in the world of FREE)
Hi Jack, don’t know how many of these your going to do but I’m loving them. Only been playing just over a week, I’m up to number 6 now with Michael McDonald. I played what I’ve learnt last night for my wife and my brother and sister in law and they thought I had been playing a lot longer. I think the Jack Squib had them, I was Squibs in with that one. Anyway, loving the lessons please don’t stop.
Cheers Jack that’s great....how about a tutorial about how best to accompany songs that are roaring along at a fast tempo without it sounding lame.......loving the videos so thanks to you, Bingers and all the Anderson’s crew.....much appreciated........
Can someone please help me with this question? In Jack’s beginners lessons on this channel he teaches you to use your thumb, index finger and middel finger when playing chords. And when I see him play he also plays like that. But when I look up other lessons and look other players they teach you to play chords with your thumb, middlefinger and pinkie. So that you can play suspended chords easier I guess? I’m not questioning his abilities or anything I love his playing and lessons. The thing is I’m learning through youtube and I don’t want to teach myself ‘bad habits’ which may be a problem later on. So I’m wondering if grabbing chords this way is like a ‘hack’ which makes it perhaps easier or that it is better to play it the more ‘traditional way? Also I know that there is no ‘wrong way’ to play anything. Like Mark Knopfler said: ‘I’m a guitar teachers worst nightmare. Thanks and love your videos Jack!
These vids are a great resource - even as someone who's dabbled in keys for a long time. Interesting to think about things in a different way and unlearn old habits and try something from a new perspective. Cheers Jack. Look forward to more.
your lessons are helping me alot man, ty! I appreciate the way you explain and the understanding of positioning, squib, etc as opposed to getting bogged down with theory. Good Work!
Loving this Jack. So many variations can be achieved with a bit of practice. Thanks for adding this to the lessons. A step by step of "What a fool believes" (the inspiration for this) would be great but only if it fits in with your lesson plans though :).
Great stuff as usual Jack!! Aside from that I found what the editor did @12:22 absolutely hilarious!!! 😂😂 Request: Keep them licks coming!! I'd love to see some chords as well.
I love this so much. I feel like I'm watching a Netflix comedy series behind my keyboard, for starters. But the thing I love MOST is that we're actually making freaking music. I've been playing guitar for millions of years, and it's such a relief not to be stumbling through "London Bridge" while trying to master proper posture at the piano. I wish a resource like this existed for guitar when I was 14.
Hey folks. I know Jacks keen to keep us in C but PLEASE could he do a tutorial on how he visualises switching between keys just to something simple like G?

About to break into the Hill Street Blues theme tune at any moment but not quite getting there, you tease, Jack! :)
Very cool and handy lick more chord licks/patterns would be nice. Maybe do in a couple keys to get a feel for moving it around.
