I am simply speechless.your lines flow on the car and nothing looks out of place I loooove those quirky headlights.sending much love from south Africa.
It is very nice yo see your passion for your beautiful and functional projects. Your Canadian customers show an appreciation for your talent. Thank you for sharing.
The algorithm dropped this on me and I subscribed before 3 minutes in. This is the sort of creative I love best. On the fly, with only a general idea of where it is taking you. And you make it look so easy... LOL.. experience in action. And you suddenly have a client/patron, who dropped a Henry-J on you !! That will be fun. And the lady likes your new project chop. Dude... go for the brass ring. This channel is about to get crazy.....
There are some people using social media making names for themselves in this business who are very average. Being a "proper" designer I can tell that this guy knows exactly what he's doing. It's nice to see real artist's coming into this business.
That is a one of a kind build. Very good and professional built ride he is a master at the Craft he does people show him some appreciation for his Craft and skills one of the best this day and age
I would love to collaborate with you on my project! I've been wanting to stretch a 4 door 89 Isuzu Trooper and add a pickup bed 23:53 made out of a 2 door Trooper. Then install a late-model 3.5L Isuzu engine & tranny under it. I have 5 -89 Troopers for this, but the trick is remaking the back 2 doors to eliminate the rear fender well. Just too many other easier hot rod projects to devote to this one.
"I'm that good" what a humble statement! Makes me gag! "I'm reckless" in every third sentence. The blue car has really nice lines, but the front suspension is pretty crude! Love the super trick door unlock!
Hello Ian love the bug chop .looking good 👍. What the changes of get a full custom garage t shirt sent over here to Western Australia. Keep up the good work and love the show 👏
MAX-AIR Shock absorber 10 inches - 12 in. One end is stud and second end is hole for bolt go thru holding down to I-beam spring and lower straight arm control gusset. All kits for $195.99.
looks exactly like mine when I bought it.....exactly....had to buy another one just to get the hood.....chopped mine 3 1/2 inches all around and built a custom tube chassis with a 389 pontiac in the front with a th350 and narrowed ford nine inch in the back....four link rear suspension dropped front axle with quarter eliptical suspension and radiator in the back.....mickey thompson fatties in the back and 10 spoke front skinnies in the front.........
Beetles are a hard car to chop and make it look "right". Also, it's hard to improve upon what the engineers, artists and factory workers created in Wolfsburg, Germany. I'm a VeeDub guy too, my first car was a 1967 Beetle I bought from my uncle Bill for a hunerd bucks. I sure do miss that car. It's one of a few cars I had that I regret parting with.
The width between the middle tread right side tire and left side wheel of the VW air cooled beetle is 6 foot and to widen more of the tracks on a road car is to be either 7 foot or maybe 8 ft for sand dune buggy. Add in lower and upper tubular wishbone letter A control arm independent suspension design by TCI or PORCHE Wolfsburg.
I love it!! New twist on a Jeep. I own a few Jeeps, and know ulhow a lot of people are over them. Their problem.is, they open a catalog and pick a bunch of bolt on accessories, and slap em on. There is no originality in that, can't wait to see where this goes
You could have gotten the front torsion bar extender for $350 on line. It would kick your front tires out like six in inches and that would mean no front fenders but you're going for that anyways. Also it would lower the front up your butt and make your steering tighter. Keep the rear stock height because when you lower the rear the back wheels flare out and makes the bug look stupid in the rear.
This one, and the Econoline one, got me into your work. I don't get the name of this channel. I had a hard time finding it again after going to your Full Custom channel.
Seeing the body lifted and carried reminded me of my best friend's bachelor party in 75. Two girls came into the tavern to use the restroom. In the time they were in there, four of us guys turned their bug sideways so the bumpers were almost touching the pickups on both sides. Upon leaving, they came back in with an amazed but not amused attitude.
nice to have a sharp blade on a seawall. you made it look clean and easy. not so in real time. Saws all blades bend. they dull quick. My brother and I have done some work on the car. started with a ratty karmin this. getting engine and tranny out was a bitch. wheels were rusted on the drums in back. shortening the shift rod was another pain. required a custom made adjuster
Now it REALLY looks like a 'bug'. However, it is easy to make things look cool when they are totally illegal, like blacked out windows, no fenders, lights too low, no side markers, etc, etc.
You think every woman walking toward you is beautiful but, it is the image as she walks past and away from you that leaves the lasting impression. The front is all flash and glitter, it's the back that is just as alluring and lasting. In other words, it's all or nothing that you want! nice chop
The Mans a genius we can only dream what he does naturally, what vision and foresight dont stop.
I am simply speechless.your lines flow on the car and nothing looks out of place

Great Job, well done!
I have a design in my head for a VW Beetle that I have had since I was 14 ! Now 40 years later, I still have not been able to build it 😢.
Nothin to it but to do it!
Master of masters

I am definitely a fan of your work!
A 1970 Beetle was my first car too! I bought it in 1972, thrashed it and it just kept on running!
just let your imagination run wild and have fun; Great job Bro from another Canadian.
Carrying that big on your head is one way to show up to the parade 🎉
What a chamer! Unbeliavable bug.
Remember him from Car Warriors! Good times for sure!
Walking the vw off property and on to the trailer.....
Hilarious 😊
I'm glad Ian uses his powers for good and not for evil...........

What up bro, I've been watching your videos for years.. 54 Chevy, model a roaster truck. I love your style. Awesome work.. 👍👍
I laughed so hard when you "walked" it over to the trailer! LOL
Nice job!
what tv show is that? this is so cool and i dont watch tv.. so i dont know.. is full custom garage an actual tv show?
Excellent work and creativity.....I just might send you a VW beetle from Trinidad to mod for me....
You know your bugs! The shape is better than the blue one because it looks like how the factory should have done the original.
looks exactly like mine when I bought it.....exactly....had to buy another one just to get the hood.....chopped mine 3 1/2 inches all around and built a custom tube chassis with a 389 pontiac in the front with a th350 and narrowed ford nine inch in the back....four link rear suspension dropped front axle with quarter eliptical suspension and radiator in the back.....mickey thompson fatties in the back and 10 spoke front skinnies in the front.........
Nice video...😀
I think a 50’s split rear oval window would look really cool
Where did u get headers for the blue bug. Been looking for headers like that. Thanks in advance for information..
Sloped vent window frames and larger windows, and sunvisor mounts. '65
It's like as much as I've followed you I expect nothing less than wicked pissa!!!
Beautiful
I went to school in NYC in the 60 and once got a ride on a Saab 96 (2 stroke) it was a hairy experience!
nobody cares

Wow! Awesome…
First off I want to say , you have extreme talent nd describe what you are doing that makes sense. Bottem kine is it is fantstic. ,,,,,,,don
Is there another channel where you built the wifes beetle and then worked on that trunkless body? I didnt find it on the Banijay Engine channel.
KOOL

Loving you both working with the spanners(sorry Australian term there) Looking forward to watching this move forward forward.
Where are you located ? I have a 72 on shortened pan and want to put an Austin America body on it
Ian, So scary you are the man.
Drove a 1964 VW great car 6 volt system!
Awesome
7:24 jabadabaduuuuuuuuuu!!!
That beetle looks likd the plymouth growler with a roof
hi i enjoy watching you
Beach bugs first deigned in South Africa Durban!
You do it on the fly. Is what they call it.
Now it REALLY looks like a 'bug'. However, it is easy to make things look cool when they are totally illegal, like blacked out windows, no fenders, lights too low, no side markers, etc, etc.
I like it
When do we see the shell he was chopping???
In your high school years where did you buy your Volkswagen beetle?
The pink bug should be a screamer with a front engine' ........V-8 right???
That’s epic / reminds me of billy gibbons bug
Like the VW trike he built, a bit too much camber in the rear. The tires will wear on the inside. Air shocks would rectify the problem
The blue bug looks like an actual beetle just sitting there
I like these, but i like the ones,motortrend, has. Four, 5 6 7 8.seasons❤but these, better, than the u tube ones with,him and,yoko😊
Ever finish it????
is there a 4 door or limo

I'll meet him eventually.
picture of the one described below....oh it's for sale too...38K.......
Have you thought about making a like a 32 ford hotrod out of a vw with a v8
