I've been thinking of this for weeks, thank you for putting this video out there. With the surge in people self immolating in the recent years, I've been trying to look into these folks and understand the message behind their actions. Reading manifestos, listening to interviews with family, even watching a video of Aaron doing karaoke with his friends. If someone is will to give their life for something, the least I can do is learn why they felt so driven. It scares me how common self immolation has become, and how many have been covered up to prevent us from understanding the sense of doom and urgency. Between climate crisis and rising facism, I hope we see this sacrifice manifest as a desire to live for people rather than die for them.
