I was actually at the Southampton boat show in September for 4 days from up north. It's always a pleasure to visit the hospitality stand of Sunseeker. The 100 is yet another super bit of marine design produced by Sunseeker. A fabulous yatch I managed to view. Keep up the good work lads at Poole and all the sales team. 🏴🐬
The Sunseeker 100 has so many amazing design features! The owners cabin has incredible views and with the bow deck, wow! Connecting all the decks together by stairs works well. The crew area is very respectable. The redesigned owners bathroom entrance through the closet allows for that wonderful corner sofa. What a yacht!
Great video Hugo! Eye watering fuel burns above 10 knots, but I guess if you can afford to buy it it’s not so scary! Looked very comfortable in the swells too.
And for most a lottery win.I wonder if it could be single-handedly launched comfortably using a Yacht controller. Dan's Boat Life has done it on a 65 foot Yacht (Princess S65) Might need some wing mirrors for the pilot house though, or some side mounted cameras shown on a big screen, as visibility looks a bit limited.
@@timk3939 mate I wouldn't want to be short-handed or inexperienced on this, but that's - strangely - the law. Love Dan and there's a Chicago boat dealer who delivers and does a lot of 65 ish foot single handed (Elevate Yachts) and yeah this is way too large for that... except... if you have Skyhook (DPS, Dynamic Positioning System) then in theory you can single handed do it. But that would be madness. And don't forget any yacht can have a remote YachtMaster so it's not like you're fixed to a position if you don't want to be.
Where did you find your statutary definitions? I can only find a requirement for yachts longer than 24m to embark a qualified skipper. The term 'superyacht' appears to be in the gift of the describer.
Great video Hugo. Would have been cool to see you drift that yacht. Maybe trail brakes it a d kick the back end around and chuck her into a swell. Just kidding. That would be ridiculous. I understand she is quite fast and luxurious, but if we look at the original king of speedy large yachts, Heesen, I think the yachts are way quieter. Ditto that for ISA, and AB, Mangusta and to some extent, Pershing, but the noise from them was swell wash and hull slap. I get you're going at a great speed, however the noise levels would be something I would want diminished so maybe that wouldn't be the yacht for me. Oh well. Can't buy one anyways. Lol.
For a large production GRP yacht I thought the noise levels were very good in the areas that really mattered. It’s very rare that you would be running at planing speed with guests in their cabins
Question - Not a boater, but would love to be able to afford it. You only seem to be pushing 1 throttle forward. Is that correct? Can the Sunseeker 100 run for long periods of time at displacement speed on 1 engine? Does that then double the range/distance it can travel?
They dont call them sunsqueeker for nothing! A brand new yacht wood squeeking🧐!! Ill go princess thanks very much! God bless all and happy sailing all 🙏❤🛥⚓
@@amiliogarcia no I did not but the woodwork department must use better glue and joinery! What an adventure for you! Thank you so much for sharing this.
Thank you, it wasn’t exactly a chore to make 😊
@@hugoandreae3785 Thanks Hugo, I'm loving your videos.
Great vid, my dad always bought your magazine. He never owned a yacht, but he loved holidays on them. Now I'm drawn to them, keep up the great work

Thanks Nic, that is the reality of owning a big boat and why they mostly cruise everywhere at 10-12 knots
That's right boats ysght soo exove fule dcmoy don't mater
Since it wasn't mentioned, fuel consumption at 17.5 kn was 0.18 mpg 😯 At top speed it was 0.16 mpg... or 6 gallons per mile!
That's right good fule econmy
Great video! Love to see more like this please
Thanks Patrick, will do my best
An absolutely beautiful Boat. That would've been an amazing experience.
I definitely need to win the mega millions lotto. Sunseeker 100 is the way I would go.
Cant wait for Aquaholic to do this one. Love the design and the layout seem to be genious
Another great video.
Absolutely brilliant! Thanks!
Very interesting review thank you very much motorboat and yachting
Not sure I would call the sea state choppy , but nice to see the boat at night
It wasn’t choppy during the sea trials section in daylight but I can assure you it was pretty lumpy during those dark sequences
I didn't see rough waters 😂
'Thats the way to travel'. I agree😅
Loved this.
Thank you
Шикарная яхта. У меня на рабочем столе уже 2 года, каждый день на нее смотрю.
Did they ever build a 100 with the helm on the fly and do they have a video of it?
There are standard yachts (

How are you able to control both engines only using the starboard throttle?
Classification
Lloyd's Register SSC Is this the classification of the Sunseeker 100 Ft Yacht? A bit of a sea state, More like a mill pond out there!
What scaries more angel or enemy?

Kinda scary feel cruising at night?
For the trip to Pakistan
You don't Drive a boat you pilot a boat
Did i hear 800 liters per hour .....🤔🙄??
11mil pound = 12.8mil euro 14mil usd that's a lot of money
My 401k manager is going to have a stroke when I tell him where the money is going.
Is the nanny state in UK that out of control grown men have to wear life preservers on a 100 foot yacht?
Me and p want the boat

At 10 knots it has a 1,400nm range!
