Great advice but if Im being honest a plan doesn't always play out like you, well, "planned". Lol. Its actually better to have your plan and hurrican bag packrd and ready in January. Just saying.
I mean… you have SOMETHING. Fill your gas tank, find your important ID and forms, cell phone and charger (charge your laptop/tablet as backup power), extra underwear, a change of clothes, a refillable water bottle, deodorant/toothbrush/toothpaste, shower flip flops and towel (even if you have to bathe at a sink in a regular bathroom this is handy), a novel, a notebook and pen, playing cards… a mini bottle of vodka 😆

Everyone should have a Go Bag regardless of where they live. Anything can happen at any time, so we all should be prepared.
