I had this same experience with PS1 Harry Potter XD I never finished the game because I had such a hard time playing it, and it was hilarious to watch Kevin go through the same shit. The weirdest part is I barely remembered the levels, but when I saw him play it, it was straight deja vu "OMG I REMEMBER THIS HOLY SHIT" It was pretty great tbh XD
Bless
It’s 3am and I just want to sleep but I just battled off having a panic attack. I came here to feel better and Kevin, you delivered. I think I’ll be able to sleep now after watching you. Thank you.
As someone with anxiety, I know how you feel and I hope you are doing well.
I woke up from a disturbing nightmare and I’m trying to forget and calm down - I feel you and I hope watching Kevin’s videos helps :)
I have axiety too, so i can relate. Hope you feel better now
I had (and still occasionally have) this exact problem. Hope you’re doing well now!
I've alao had this problem everyday, I hope you feel better and the panic attacks get better eventually
"We have to keep dancing if we're going to save father!" "Yep, that'll save father! Unlike calling the police, which would be absolutely pointless."
I revisited this game a few months ago and that was the most absurd thing I've ever heard Barbie say. I made the same joke with my sister.
i mean, this is placed in like the 18th century so calling the police would actually be pointless lmao but yeah, not sure dancing is a better option...
That first minigame... oh my god this was JUST AN EXCUSE TO FUEL HIS IDLE BREAKOUT ADDICTION! HE SAID HE'D STOP BUT HE'S FOUND A WAY! GET HIM!
2:47 Kevin that's nothing, the animals in the barbie cinematic universe are the eighth deadly sin
*I think Kevin's the only person I know to be able to kill Barbie in the matter of 50seconds*
Barbie: *falls into a crack too small to fall into*
Kevin: "Okay"
The game being hard so kids can’t finish is so accurate. I literally couldn’t finish this game 😭
I remember playing it and I could never finish the game 😭
My little cousin plays that and it's so difficult for him
Really? That was quite easy, one day and me-being-an-7-year-old finished it
@@naturazpolski9213 but that last one where the cat had to avoid the stuff was too hard for 7 year old me
I finished it but my dad had to play the game where the cat had to jump over obstacles because GOD DAMN that was hard
i never knew i needed to hear kevin say “barbie lore” til now
In the Barbie extended universe there are multiple different realities, each with their own Barbie.
That is how in one universe she is a magical fairy princess and in another a secret spy agent.
I am currently still waiting for barbies own "into the Barbie-verse" film.
(Honestly though, it is crazy how many occupations Barbie has already had that no one acknowledgedes. )
@@lexa2310 she's basically child-friendly Johnny Sins
Alexandra Pippan bruh i know i recently rewatched a bunch of barbie movies on new years and it’s wild
@@lexa2310 Oh no no, in BCU (Barbie cinematic universe) Barbie is a movie actor as seen in Barbie: a Fashion fairytale and in Barbie: Fairy secret (those two movies are connected) that has been in the roles of these other barbie charactes. In Barbie : a Fashion fairytale you can see movies poster that ARE the other barbie movies.
So in conculusion: Barbie is a big movie star in BCU.
@@lexa2310 the plot twist is that in all the movies barbie is actually the actress and all the storylines are fictional in the barbie universe too? like, she has different names in each one, etc.
"why is it making me dance????"
the game is literally called barbie in the 12 DANCING princesses, kevin

@@ZackBenedict Translates to Kevin
I literally played this game about 100 times when I was a kid and used to think it was AMAZING now looking at it now I'm genuinely confused as to why I loved it and that parrots voice is burned into my soul forever
Barbie: * touched something *
Barbie: *GUESS I'LL DIE*
The lack of facial expressions on the characters makes this game terrifying.
SpongeGirlKitty it’s the Botox 😂
"I don't need instructions I know what I'm doing.... What am doing..?" Had me sent
10 year old me: this movie is sweet awe
18 year old me: This game is cursed.... I love it
When a Barbie game is more difficult than Dark Souls
Kevin's unerring ability to find and play the shitty games that haunted my childhood never fails to astound me.
This looks like a friendly version of "Alice Madness Returns".
Omg I want him to play that
OMG, yes please. Or even better, the OG American McGee's Alice...
Always wanted to play that i hear the 2nd one is real intense!
@@joshmasterson5015and there's also a third one on the way! Called "Alice: Asylum", I have played the second game and yeah....I love it to death
Yes, the original please. Although both would be cool
"I don't care about her father anymore!" Kevin, did you even care about him to begin with?
I still have fever dreams of "Detective Barbie in The Mystery of the Carnival Caper"
I'm scared of that game for life it scared me
Just reading the title gave me anxiety
I remember actually enjoying the game as a kid, but there were parts of the game that scared me like the giant slide sequence and also some guy being trapped in a box or something.
Noooo, I remember being so frustrated with this game as a child, because she ran so slowly!
I expected Kevin to start with: "Hey there friends, I'm a barbie girl in a barbie world"
But I thought Kevin was a Disney princess
@@martabartoszewska104 no, he is a Disney queen.
@@palewhiteperson Pretty sure Jim Pickens is the Disney Queen
That look on Kevin's face when he is told to match a jem to a princess is priceless XD
This was my childhood. The books, the films, the dolls. Never knew there were games which is probably a good thing
Imogen Jones
I played this game so much xD maybe its just nostalgia, but this was super fun and I honestly think I’d be able to enjoy playing it again today. Played the princess and the Pauper game too
I still play the games occasionally, this one, Barbie Horse, and Secret Agent Barbie. I'm sure it's purely nostalgia but I still really enjoy playing them once every few years
Princess and the Pauper and 12 dancing princesses were the best Barbie movies
Barbie movies were my childhood. Its weird since Im not very feminine nowadays but I still will watch barbie movies when I need comfort
I used to play this game all the time😂. It is a bit weird but back then it was one of my favorite games and I would actually play it again just because of nostalgia
The movie version of this game WAS MY LIFE
SAME!
Oh, all the Barbie films are my guilty pleasure. They are just really relaxing and uplifting to watch for some reason. Maybe its nostalgia.
Getting flashbacks to Barbie's Horse Adventure for the Wii. That game was the hardest shit.
THANK GOD IT WASNT JUST ME
“What is the point, I don’t understand” -Kevin
I ask myself that question everyday
i like the fact that no one is having an interaction with mystery person.
@@secretlybees Because everyone agrees and they don't feel the need to add anything to it. 😌

Me: *realizes I used to have this game as a child*
Me: *frantic search through my computer cabinet*
Me: *finds game and pops it into my computer*
Update: THIS GAME TOOK ME THREE HOURS AND I CAN GUARANTEE KEVIN WILL NOT HAVE A GOOD TIME! One of the mini games you do a total of 12 times and each time the game makes you listen to an explanation
omg yeah i remember being like 7 and spending days on this game bc i was so frustrated lmao
TS S
I got stuck for way to long on the stupid mini game where you collect flowers with the cat and have to duck under/jump over obstacles
Also I got lose, I got fucking lose in a goddamn Barbie game
I used to have this game too. I got so frustrated on some of the minigames though. My grandpa used to have to do some of the harder ones for me lmao.
i'm pretty sure that's the exact reason why i didn't finish this game when i was younger lol
I have it still too! Even made it run on my new laptop so I played it like a year ago again and it took me about 2h to finish everything xD
he protecc
he atacc
but most importantly .
kevina gets the flute bacc 😌
*Kevin skips the cut scenes*
10 mins later: "what the feck is happening this game doesn't fill you in at all!"

Kevin, This is a cinematic masterpiece you need to watch it ASAP
Finally, 34 seconds ago- "I accomplished something today... which is rare." I feel this too much.
According to the timer it's 45 seconds ago
Yes
I had this game as a child.
The sound of that parrot hits memories I wanted to forget
I haven't cried from laughter in a long while, thank ya Kevin. Secret Agent Barbie, Cabbage Patch Kids: Where's My Pony, and the PC version of Bratz Rock Angelz are all cursed as well if you're lookin' for more pain.
The Artist As someone who had Bratz Rock Angels and this game, I agree. Pretty much all early-mid 2000’s Bratz games are cursed.
When you actually need a deep understanding of the barbie lore to play and understand this game
God I remember playing this game when I was a kid, and that maze/hedge level used to Terrify me. I don't really remember why, but like I would actually freak out while trying to avoid the moving hedges
The hedge animals used to freak me out too
Do you guys remember that princess and the pauper game? That was my shit. I have the disc somewhere but I don’t know if it’s still compatible with newer computers haha
as someone who watched and enjoyed this movie when I was a child, I can say that this version is far superior
I watched it too when I was little, I think it was the only one that wasn't scratched so it was my favorite.
Wait... what! There's a movie? Nooòoooh!
Kevin: *Plays Barbie in The Twelve Dancing Princesses"
Also Kevin: "Why are you making them all dance?!"
I don’t need lessons, I know what I’m doing!
1 second later: What am I doing?!
Basically every single video
That was even less than in a second
"Hey there friends, my name is Ken."
Barbie movies: used motion tracking technology on classically trained ballerinas to get the most realistic dance animations they could
This game: 8:45 *exists*
me: :(
Kevin: anyways here’s a Barbie game I’m playing keep in mind I’m a 26 year old man
me: :)
Kevin “I don’t need lessons I know what I’m doing”
5 seconds later “WHAT AM I DOING?!”
Barbie: "You've killed me!"
Me: "Good."
I get this reference
*Has dancing in the title*
Kevin: WHY DOES IT HAVE SO MUCH DANCING
“Why is everyone dancing?”
Did- Did you not see the title of the game???
“I don’t need lessons. I know what I’m doing.”
“What am I doing??”
"Shes just so good at killing herself"
Sounds like something my therapist would say about me
Well I doubt they would say that to YOU in third person. 🤔
But you failed?
Hope you're doing better.
