I just want to clarify for non-cubers that it is NOT solving side by side, it is simply forming centre pieces to finalise the edges with (yes those are centres). also the reason he couldn't do 100x100 is because even numbers require parity, which would most likely be much more difficult to code
@@teslacactus1135 yes, but I believe it’s a different kind of parity. My understanding is that in a 5*5 you have to worry about edge parity, but in a 4*4 you have to also worry about center parity
I imagine that Stephen is now drawing power from the speed force and is solving cubes so fast that he reversed time thus making it so he never solves it in the first place.
I can see why you keep the numbers uneven, because then there'll be a middle piece which dictates a side's colour. Even numbered cubes don't have center pieces on each side, making them significantly harder to solve
He watched this video and maybe not comment cuz he is a hater and thinks this is fake he just gonna get called out again because the ai can make 200 by 200
the reason he couldn’t do 100 by 100 is because that would mean creating a centre, and making sure that there are no flipped sides, which is way more difficult. odd numbers are easier than even numbers.
It's not much if any more difficult as a puzzle solver. Parity exists in odd numbered cubes (5x5+) as well. It is simply a matter of permuting the individual edge pieces correctly. Non-centric center production could result in a void cube parity, but that is easily detectable and correctable with an alg. However, scaling his odd-numbered solving method to an even-numbered cube would require more consideration, so it's probably that it was just easier not to consider the even layered cases. Even cubes do have physical centers - a 4x4 is just a 5x5 with the middle layer buried in the mechanics. The same goes for all large cubes. All I can think of is if this program refers to the "guaranteed" pieces, aka edges, 1x1 centers, and corners, for orientation. If that is the case, yes an even layered cube would need to be considered specially (though, it's totally doable assuming a fixed hidden center orientation and tracking rotations).
I love the way that as it solves a side, the average "pixels" of the other sides change, becoming more red as green gets pulled out during the first side and so on.
It's actually estimated that when an ice cream truck passes by Evan's house he travels at 3.456E122 times the speed of light, arriving in approximately 1.47127E-127 milliseconds after travelling 50 feet from his couch to the truck.

Odd-numbered cubes are actually simpler when it comes to compare it to the even-numbered ones. For instance, 7×7×7 is easier than 6×6×6. For the same reason, 101×101×101 is easier than 100×100×100 Still GG dude.
@@jakebonavia7722 That's particular. Normally, I would say yes, because when the number is even, you can fall into a so-called "case of equality", which means you MAY not be able to solve it by reducing it to a 3x3x3. Also, you have to build the center. Instead, with an odd number, the central square is always alredy there. But when it comes to 2x2x2 it's particular: you have no center to build, as well as the problem of reducing it to a 3x3x3. That's the only case when an even-numbered cube is actually simpler than the corresponding odd-numbered one. Still, it's extremely fun to play with.
As someone who can solve both, that's not really correct. You can simply line a corner up to the centers and it matches if it's corrects. Even then most people that do 6x6 competitively already know the color scheme, so they know which is which.
@@deklinmorrissey9127 Of course, you can check the corner to build the centers. But in 2×2×2 you don't even need to build them, since it does not have central squares. Still, in the 2×2×2, cases of equality can be found, like in all the even-numbered cubes. I can solve both types as well, personally the 4×4×4 version is my fauvorite 😁
You should put a picture on each side of the cube. As long as each cube has meta data of what it actually is you could render it however you want. Then you could watch the AI unscramble 6 images at once
Well, the center pieces can be solved into 8 different positions, and the center has 4 orientations... so it would be more computationally heavy. Also I agree VLS sucks

I didn’t, it’s just that it isn’t creative. Hence it’s very easy to come up with, and will therefore come up a lot.
Traveel you can see the cube updating in real time therefore no.
Odd-numbered cubes are actually simpler when it comes to compare it to the even-numbered ones. For instance, 7×7×7 is easier than 6×6×6.
For the same reason, 101×101×101 is easier than 100×100×100
Still GG dude.
Is 3×3 easier than 2×2?
So 101x101 is easier than 4x4?
I will be scard for life after seeing the scrambled 100x100

Dayumm this is 1x1!!
Those things can be very tricky to solve, especially when the final centre piece is upside down compared to the rest of the face
