    My job is good and I make great money for a server but the majority of my coworkers are really mean to me, one of the very few people who are kind to me just had her father pass away yesterday so I wanted to make her something to show I care and I decided this little huggable friend would be perfect! Thank you so much!!! It was a great video and I love your energy :)

    amazing pattern! this was my first ever attempt (technically second, we don't talk about the first..) attempt at crocheting as I'm teaching myself and i loved how my little frog turned out! he's not perfect and looks bloated and slightly deformed but he's perfect in my eyes. took him to my classes today and my peers and teachers loved seeing him, and i have a few people already interested in buying my work! i cannot thank you enough for the clear, easy to understand tutorial and the fact that you wrote out each stitch while showing us! means a lot, will definitely do more of your tutorials in the future!

    wonderful tutorial! As a intermediate-advanced crocheter, sometimes videos like this are way too drawn out, but this was a perfect length. I did size up to a 6.5 hook and used animal noses for the safety eyes. They are the ones without detail, just triangular in shape so my frog looks extra disappointed lol. As many others are saying, I can’t wait to make more for family and friends :) !

    I've tried to make this 5 times now and every time the arms look like they're on a different row, like right arm on row 6 but left on row 7). Any idea why this might be happening, even when I try to put the arms in different spots?

      Oh no! Maybe more practice with chains and single crochets would help? I have a beginner series that might be helpful: ua-cam.com/play/PLem3xDFnVY6mwQO6z7MKUxzhAQY2VYcTN.html&si=c_SuERO8ZOzQOSrI

    You only do one hdc at the end of row one. Then you start the decrease. My count was off and I watched the video discovering this error.

    • @AnitaLouiseCrochet
      @AnitaLouiseCrochet  Місяць тому +2

      Yes the ch 2 that you skipped in the beginning counts as the first hdc. So there should be 2 hdc on each side if you count the skipped chains as a hdc.

      @AnitaLouiseCrochet  4 місяці тому +1

      Oh no!! Did you miss stitches under the arms? You should have 16 stitches on round 6. Did you do the increases in row 7? That row increases to 18. ❤️

      @AnitaLouiseCrochet I'm not completely sure what I did, but to make the hole bigger, I just shortened the frog so it isn't as long, but it's still a good size. 🐸 And it looks like it'll be super cute 😍
      Edit: This is so cute!! ❤ Thanks so much for the tutorial!

    • @AnitaLouiseCrochet
      @AnitaLouiseCrochet  Місяць тому +1

      Mine are usually a little curly too. I find that if i make the chain a little looser make the single crochets a little looser when you crochet back up the chain, then they curl less!
