About the heels, the girl in the mv was his lover and she passed away(that’s why no one seem to notice her in the church). The heels sort of represent the only connection he has left with the girl.
The heels just about Memento Mori from the girl, almost every Yonezu song was about memento mori, you can see the pattern by looking to his old work MV, his animated mv always showing girl and boy wearing black and white to represented memento mori and he keep doing this things till right now just like in MV canary he perform with black and white suits

Why doesn't he appear on TV and other media so much when he gives us such a nice song? Why can he be enlightened like a monk or a god and go deep into a person's psychology from a young age?
