thank you so much for the help, i was using the bigger holes and nothing was working, such a simple solution. Edit: just for those wondering it worked on my wife's 2024 GSX8R
Great thanks for your excellent videos, this is the second I've seen and very instructive, simple when you know how, the jumper is a lot cheaper than a diagnostic tool I had to buy for my BMW's.
Thanks for the video and clear instructions. So it works just like my GSX 1250 FA, for which I have a diagnostic plug with a switch: flip it an you'll see a C-code. Luckily, the GSX doesn't have an idiotic servicing light. Anyhow, that's one major issue with modern bikes, the secrecy about servicing the bike. As an owner I should have the possibility to just buy a servicing manual on how to access all functions and all settings and be able to use diagnostic software.
Hoping you'll do a clock reset vid for the 1050 Strom. Here in America we change times twice a year from standard to daylight savings and back. The clock reset is very difficult to figure out.
hi thanks for the video! I'm asking to be safe, isn't there a risk of burning the control unit this way? sorry for the stupid question but I don't want to cause any damage.. thanks a lot!
❤ Thank you for this explanation. shall we remove the jumbler wire after rest? Also I Have V-Storm DL1050-2021, Run only 8000 km. the battery reading is stable, but I have a problem with it , sometime the bike turns off suddenly while I am Riding , and it will work again easily, So is the reason from the battery or something else? What is the solution ( need Help ) 😉
Yeah, please remove the jumper wire after that..😃 Doesent sound like a battery problem.. If rhe lights on a dash stays on when the engine dies, then I would start from side stand switch.. If everything dies, then maybe the big "+" and ground wires from battery, or the battery it shelf.. 🤔😃
Wire goes to flat edge corners of the connector.. When the flat edge is down, wire goes: down left and down right (I used those smaller holes)..😀 Sorry I cant change it better on video afterwards..
Thanks this helped me reset service, I have one more question I have a icon on the upper left side manual says it’s the engine rpm indicator light I can’t seem to find any information about what it does or how to use it
@@TeemuBT thanks for the reply I just had someone else give me the answer and they showed me a different way to reset the service indicator also you don't need to use the wire
Textbook explanation, thank you. Worked perfectly on my 2022 1050 vstrom

Un gran video.
Puedes decir los pines donde introducir el cable, en el vídeo no se aprecia muy bien en donde se coloca el cable
Wire goes to flat edge corners of the connector.. When the flat edge is down, wire goes: down left and down right.. :)

Millainen toi on yleisesti pyöränä?
Huoltajan silmin vaikeasti kasattu, niin kuin kaikki uudet, mutta käytössä en tiedä.. Jos joku tälläisen omistaja kertoo mielipiteensä, kiitos..? 😃
It cant be done without the wire?
No.. You need to set the bike in service mode with the wire.. :)
Thanks for the video, I just passed my first service interval at 1000 km 👍
