I smelt this fragrance recently. I am in love; love at first sniff for me!!!! It reminds me of Warm Cotton by Clean which I have 3 backup bottles but much better longevity. This fragrance lasts over 10 hours which is amazing for a freshie!!!!!! I will be purchasing the 6.8 oz for it is sooooo good. I like this much better than the Aqua Universalis Forte. 724 is so clean!!!!!!!!!! An intense version of 724 is a great idea!!!! Great review!!!!!!!!!

Aqua Universalis is easy to take for granted. I’m a spicy floral girl, but when I 1st smelled it around 20 years ago…almost (?), I was in New York in the summer. It was so refreshing I had to have it! At Bergdorf, they also gave me a lot of samples of Apom which I also loved. In the Bay Area, it rarely gets so steamy, but a trip to Sacramento, I had to have it in my life again. So, I got the travel trio, which is perfect for this sort of scent.

Yep! N Neiman’s sent me a sample! It really reminds me of Aqua Universalis Forte but with less citrus and more floral. I really like the musk in this. Not much projection or Siaj
I love the fresh fragrances fro MFK but I'm distancing from all the fresher, lighter ones, my taste moving on to darker, heavier scents even in high heat, just controlling the sprays, I think I have enough freshies right now, the only one that I want to add to my collection is Seahorse. yeah, same with me. I will most probably try 724 but I think I am already fine with Gentle Fluidity silver. And yes, Seahorse is really unique and absolutely fantastic. Squid is totally different but such a gem as well.
The number on the fragrance makes my mind turn to 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Perhaps they intend it to be a fresh light year round offering that could be a signature sent?

I received the 724 sample with a purchase from the MFK website. I took the sample with me on a holiday in Beverly Hills, the weather was perfect for this fragrance. I quite liked 724 so I purchased a 70ml bottle. Fragrance brands should market their fragrances by handing samples, especially with purchases.
Just bought this. I was a bit hesitant because i heard it was more feminine than masculine, and well, I'm just a regular type of dude with a little cash in his pocket trying to smell good 😅. 724 is definitely more feminine, but I'll still rock it. Your review was spot on. I started my journey with spicier, dark fragrances but moved to fresher ones. This one is clean, and i think slightly better than most of my Creed stuff, honestly. Just a tad bit more subtle and better longevity. I dig it. No REgErtS 🙃 😂
This was my first MFK purchase after a nurse told me she was wearing it during my dialysis. The scent is fantastic, but the longevity when considering the price will keep me from ever buying another full bottle of it unless they release an extrait flanker
Curious about this one now. Fragrances I think of in association with clean laundry are all a lot more affordable, and like them all a lot: Dunhill Century, Banana Republic Pure White, Montblanc Starwalker, and even The Body Shop White Musk for Men,
I've never tried any of MFKs Aqua line, but I do wanna try them, and this, because I adore Petit Matin its my favourite citrus floral soring summer scent. Thanks for the review
@MrRL13 Sure!! I would recommend Cedro Diamante from Perris Monte Carlo, also all the Collection les Eaux from Chanel is spectacular, my favorite being Paris Biarritz. Also try Black Citrus from Vilhem perfumery and Petit Matin from Kurkdjian. 724 didn't work out for me, I gave it to a friend. Let me know what you think!

I am not a citrus fragrance person so not sure if I’d like it. Also, as we approach fall/winter I prefer more boozy darker spicy vanilla based scents. I’m looking for a new fall/winter scent so this isn’t on my radar. Maybe I’ll be interested in the Spring.
I had the chance to smell 724 at Newman's last week. I thought that it's an aquatic slightly masculine version out of the 4 aqua universalis fragrances. To my nose the forte has a lemongrass and white lily note, the original has a listea note and is heavier on the white florals.
I managed to get a sample of it and I enjoyed the opening with the citrus and fresh linen. I don't know what happened but I started feeling physically nauseated with the citrus scent. As it dries down the citrus is still in the background but the creaminess of the musk and sandalwood becomes prominent. I am conflicted with this.
I am curious to try this one out, hopefully they have it in Selfridges this weekend. Would you say it leans masculine or feminine overall or is completely unisex? Also how do you think it would work it high heat?
Haven't heard the best reactions from this fragrance. Fans are pretty upset that such a basic fragrance coming from such a prestige & celebrated House. MFK has been bought out by a conglomerate company, and Francis Kurkdjian has left the company and hired with a Golden Parachute package to be Director of Fragrances with Dior since Francois Demachy has moved on. We have to be honest here, the MFK company is in trouble in terms of making future masterpieces. Nothing lasts forever, and neither does the King of the Hill. More excited today about what Kurkdjian does with future Dior releases. Also praying to god he improves Dior's Private Line's Fragrances longevity.
If you search around the site, there is an 11ml travel edition that I assume fits into the Globe Trotter. I guess it will go on general sale at the same time as the fragrance does (1st September). At the moment, the 11ml is only available as a gift for purchases over 350 euros. Sebastian, are you enjoying it more now? I am really starting to like this now. At first, I thought it was really redundant but now I'm digging the clean, ethereal angelic quality.

Hi Sebastian, mine arrived today too. Like you, I'm kind of on the fence with this one. I already have AUF and AVF. This is a little redundant. I was sort of expecting something else. I also like the blue label. Maybe I will grow to like it more as time passes.
I like it but yes it's redundant. Definitely better than the Aquas for sure. Thoughts? I didn't care for those Aquas. Still missing Absolue Pour Le Soir. That is still my number favorite MFK to this day! :)
Absolutely not. Delina Rosee is more of a watery take on the original Delina with the rose, lychee and fruits. Those notes are absolutely non existent in 724! :)
I’m kind of tired of these mega conglomerates buying up ALL the luxury labels. I miss the days when luxury brands were much smaller, niche operations and the items were truly rare and special. Now it all just feels like mass market stuff that everyone and their brother has. Luxury has definitely lost its luster in recent years. For me, at least.
Can’t agree more!!! Big companies buying all the small niche brand, re-branded them into those so called “niche” but not like what it’s used to be anymore… I’m afraid Frederic malle will be the next one…
Actually funny thing is I wore that and I used to wear the deodorant quite a bit back in the 2000s it doesn’t remind me of it because it’s got the sugar that’s missing in the MFK. But I guess if you had sugar it would remind you of it? I would think the original aqua Universalis would remind more of the sugar by fresh because it is lemon and sugar by fresh was lemon.
Everything from this house is so sweet and chemical-smelling to me. After I sprayed on BR540 I was told I smelled like a teenage girl exploded all over me. I’ve sampled the whole sugary line, and I can’t imagine this will be much different.

I'm not really a fan of the fragrances from LVMH and I'm not expecting much from the house of MFK moving forward. Perhaps this fragrance can change this pessimism.
Very disappointing in MFK - they are charging US customers about $100 more, as you can no longer buy from the French site, and are forced to buy from the US site, where they charge MUCH more. I’ve written MFK about this, and they ignored the question. Very disappointing, as the USD is about the same as the EURO, so it would be a deal. I’ve just moved away from MFK and over to others, like Xejoff, who still sell at the same price.

Seahorse and Squid 😍 are great oceanic unique (without fishy-seaweed scent) ones IMO

Most of MFK clear fragrance are floral, citrus, fresh woods, and light clean laundry, and musk. Don't understand this release.

I don’t understand the comments regarding longevity, I sampled this yesterday (I think it’s fabulous) and it lasted 8 hours plus.
I own way too many fresh scents like these, but somehow I can't resist them. I love Aqua Universalis, so I'm pretty sure I can blind buying 724.

I smelled it yesterday at Nordstrom. It was a clean, fresh floral fragrance. It was pleasant but I have other favorites from this site house.

I tried it in Neiman Marcus… it’s so good!!! Very fresh and unisex.
This instantly reminded me of United Colors of Benetton's HOT perfume.
With few similarities on the notes. Also woody and citrusy!!

The floral has (in my opinion) to be a sweet pea. Because it really reminds me of a Burberry woman's fragrance that has sweet pea in it

724 head notes smell like Le Labo Citron 28，very similar. And the dry down is just like Aqua Universalis.

It's definitely extremely cloud ☁️ like. A woman told me it smells like heaven. It's airy. It's enveloping somehow.
A layering idea for your imagination: Amouage Beach Hut Man and CdG Marseille. 🙂

Francis Kurkdjian did not leave his own brand names after him btw. He is still perfumer for MFK and now Dior. Both brands are owned by LVMH. 😀

This reminds me so much of Muschio Bianco Acca Kappa on dry down. This 724 is lighter while Acca Kappa is too creamy and heavy.

Hmm. Ask the store you ordered from. But can be due to manufacturing issues.
I find 724 to be similar to Aqua Vitae forte, more than AU forte.

To me, this smells nearly identical to Aqua Universalis Forte, which I already have so no need to have both.
Very disappointing in MFK - they are charging US customers about $100 more, as you can no longer buy from the French site, and are forced to buy from the US site, where they charge MUCH more. I’ve written MFK about this, and they ignored the question. Very disappointing, as the USD is about the same as the EURO, so it would be a deal. I’ve just moved away from MFK and over to others, like Xejoff, who still sell at the same price.
