4m19 is a very poor example. Brazil overall native forest cover(64%) is way higher than Argentina's(34%). The amazon is in danger for sure but be careful with the numbers here. There are very few countries with more native preserved forest percentage. Aside from the north and the mountains in the west, most of Argentina is farmland.
